elderly parents............letting off steam

arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!ok thank you i feel better now.................my mum is 84 nd i love her soooooo much but she is so tiring..... i have brothers that are all older than me with no kids at home i have 3 children at home ,,,i am the only one that takes her out twice a week in her chair and some other days she comes over here,,,,,,,i am not moaning as i love her but i get so tired..today i just got home from taking her shopping.i asked her if she had enough money as i look after it ..i gave her 40 pounds in her kitchen ,,by the time i got home she phoned and couldnt find it ,, i cant write all i feel on here but i just wanted to screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

aimsmum lol yes i justed wasted time making the beds i could have been on here ,their only gonna sleep in em and mess em up ....................hub2dee thank you,, cant help being an angel ..when i was in late labour with dd 2 a baby was rushed into my labour room as there was a oxygen thing in there ,,i sat up a kept saying breathe come on then he/she started crying and i could get on with my contractions ,,so think im stuck like this lol........ps no more news yet ..should i call hospital or wait for bro ??

sorry had ds on my knee and couldn't type!! Yes, i'd say give them a call. It will out your mind at rest a bit until you can get there yourself. I'm sure that if you haven't heard from your brother then she is doing fine but at the same time it's agonising sitting around waiting for a phone to ring and not nowing isn't it? Are you going over there soon?

UPDATE!! brother phoned had xrays etc still on assesment ward..another dr thinks she has a chest infection........he isnt sure how long till she goes onto a ward.......

UPDATE !!
just called mums ward she has had a restful night ..and is ok in herself ..but the heart moniter is still showing signs of not being ok ..i will be visiting her this afternoon as visiting isnt till 2.oo so .will update you then ,,thanks again for your concern ,xx

am ok will feel better when ive seen her ,,problem is im expecting the worse and dont know how to be possitive....still numb from dad going

I'm sure your mum will be fine. It must be horrible to get a scare so soon after your Dad though.

Don't feel guilty for letting off steam - it's probably the best thing you could have done, now you can go in there and start fresh with all that off your chest - and it was perfect timing to get it all out with your brither as now he will have to get his act together and start helping your Mum more - although I still think the doctors might advise her that she will need someone to come in every day and help her - a district nurse maybe at first.
It's probably given your Mum a bit of a scare as well and might make a bit more submissive and welcoming of some help.

Hope it all goes smoothly today and you have a nice afternoon with her xxx
