Our church is running a quiz as a fundraiser - have left it til last entry day to try and finish it and then deliver it! I've done quite well out of the 68 questions but wondered if anyone had any suggestions for the following:-

The answers to these are found in or on the body of humans:-

  1. Last but not down
  2. Was it uncertain?
  3. Do not always hit back first
  4. Told fibs about the Honourable Member
  5. A very quiet finish to nine
  6. Date tree

And one other, the answer to which is to be found in or on the body of other creatures:-

  1. Reliant? Not I

Thank you!

Yes I was trying to think of things with "up" in...

justkeepswimming · 26/09/2008 16:36

stay-up
hold-up
end-up....

nope!

forevercleaning · 26/09/2008 17:04

the other one you used for tendon - 'no dent its wrecked you say? Is it 'no dent it is wrecked? could then be tendonitis?

clutching at straws here too!

Was just trying to think of what that one could be if the last but not down was was in fact tendon.

OhWellNeverMind · 26/09/2008 18:04

ascending aorta?

justkeepswimming · 26/09/2008 18:07

last but not...least?
then something with down?

tsael?

bugging me now too!

OhWellNeverMind · 26/09/2008 18:14

No I think that Tendon has to be Tendon.

Tendonitis isn't a part of hte body - unless that was in a seperate part of teh quiz that was not body parts....

justkeepswimming · 26/09/2008 18:28

justkeepswimming · 26/09/2008 18:41

last-ron
stay-ron
end-ron?

OhWellNeverMind · 26/09/2008 18:41

Are there any body parts beginning with Z?

ClareVoiant · 26/09/2008 18:42

dp says that 'last' could be 'back' - if that helps

justkeepswimming · 26/09/2008 18:42
