...... do you realise we've been chatting now for almost 18months .

Berrie, thankyou for the very kind offer to mug your children. It's much appreciated .
Tbh the car only cost £150 last year so it's reached the end of it's days I'm afraid - we need to get another one.

I know the feeling though - I think I've done really well at the shops sometimes, but try as I might I can't get it below £100 a week. Must Try Harder.

OMG....Dh has just killed it with a spade....just right now.... That was most unpleasant....

Berrie · 09/11/2008 08:20

Did I scare you all away?

oggsfrog · 09/11/2008 09:41

Not me , I'm just having i/net connection probs in the high winds.

Seen any more rats?

Morning
Anybody got anything interesting on today? this week? this month?

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/11/2008 09:16

Morning.
Kids ill today. Ds has a temperature and a rash, heat I think. No other symptoms to speak of other that he's not eating and is sleeping a lot. DD is ok really I think, just jumping on the bandwagon but I've not taken her to preschool anyway.
I have lessons tonight and musical theatre choir.

oggsfrog · 10/11/2008 14:18

Are they feeling any better this afternoon?

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/11/2008 14:37

Ds is a bit droopy but not so bad...his skin looks awful though...really red and itchy. Dd is fine, she's irrepressible.
What are you up to this week?

oggsfrog · 10/11/2008 18:00

Poor ds. What do you think it is?

Not much on this week...in fact nothing on this week. Will go food shopping at some point, and may go to the wool shop to pick up some supplies but that's about it. Mega exciting, huh?

I'm taking a room at a time and having a clear out. Up to now I've got rid of two boxes of books (including all the pregnancy and birth books I'd been hanging on to in the hope I'd need them again), and two bin bags full of clothes.
I'm trying to tame my craft cupboards and knitting and sewing stashes at the moment.

Dh is out at a meeting tonight so I think I'll have a long soak with a book and then finish watching Sense and Sensibility (I'm a sucker for a good costume drama and love Jane Austen ones especially).

Hope you have a good time singing tonight.

What has happened to Zeb I wonder? It's over a week since she's been around.
Surely Lyra must get connected soon too?

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/11/2008 19:32

Enjoy your bath!

I know, hope she's ok.

Sounds like you are doing well with the clear out. I need to do that.

I'm feeling weedy so I've cancelled my lessons and choir.

Don't know what ds has, he's fighting off something. Not quite well enough for school tomorrow.

I'm going to watch a bit of Star Treck Voyager in a bit.

oggsfrog · 10/11/2008 19:53

Ooh, I like Star Trek in any form but dh doesn't unfortunately.

OP posts:
Berrie · 10/11/2008 21:25

We love it

Watched Touch of Frost instead while dh built his aeroplane...no drink...will sleep well tonight.

oggsfrog · 11/11/2008 07:24

That's good , did you go last Thu?

Very windy and wet here this morning so dh is going off to buy straw as he can't get on with much else.
I've got to catch up with paerwork. Oh joy.

OP posts:
Berrie · 11/11/2008 09:15

Oh get him to get me some. I asked dh to get some a bale ago and now I'm down to the last 'slice.'

No I didn't go.

Didn't get my good night sleep. Dd going down with it properly now. She cried twice, fell out of bed once and wanted a drink of water once. All a big surprise to dh when I told him this morning

Dd watching tractor Ted on sofa downstairs, ds watching Thomas upstairs which he's hated for months but apparently now likes again.

Even if Zeb was ill, she's online at home now isn't she? Hope nothing bad has happened.

oggsfrog · 11/11/2008 09:23

She does have a connection at home now, yes. Hope everything is okay.

I'm presuming Lyra is just too busy at her new house, but maybe this thread is just dying?

I'm debating at the moment whether to have a namechange as dd knows my name and how much I use this site. I'm worried she could tell someone.

I don't really post anything too personal, but I'm very private in RL and would hate the thought of people knowing who I am. Also we live in such a small village...

Hmm. What to do... what to do?

OP posts:
Berrie · 11/11/2008 09:27

The name would still be there to be searched if anyone had a mind to.

oggsfrog · 11/11/2008 10:12

You're right. Oh well, I shouldn't have chosen such an individual sodding name.

OP posts:
Berrie · 11/11/2008 10:18

I don't suppose anyone would be much interested. You might have to think about being ananymous as she gets older though.

oggsfrog · 11/11/2008 16:24

'I don't suppose anyone would be much interested' Waddya mean?!?! You saying my life is boring? Hey? Hey? Pah!

OP posts:
Berrie · 12/11/2008 08:03

My dear, I am sure that you are endlessly fascinating. I was just thinking that no-one really looks at my blog much so they cannot be as interested in me as I think they should!

oggsfrog · 12/11/2008 15:39

I look at your blog

OP posts:
Berrie · 12/11/2008 16:12

Berrie · 12/11/2008 16:13

Someone left a comment the other day...a stranger I have it set so that you can't google it but this was a fellow blogger I think who could sneak in another way...it was a nice comment having said that so that was ok.

Berrie · 13/11/2008 07:22

Morning Oggs.

ZEEEEEEB?!? Zeb where are you?

Hurry up and get online Lyra.

oggsfrog · 13/11/2008 10:29

Morning.

Have just hidden almost all topics on here as was getting increasingly angry/frustrated/fed up/bored with a lot of the arguing/one-upmanship/pettiness that goes on.

I'm only going to read the 'nice' topics for a while... arts and crafts and food etc.

OP posts:
Berrie · 13/11/2008 10:37

Good for you.

I have just bought 3 bargin rolls of fabric from a shop I've never been in in the village and I can't even sew!
