went to town as dp needs wants a new mobile, but were closes so spent lots in boots and whsmiths and waterstones, got ds1and 2 some albums reduced down to £1.50 and delias frugel book to £4.99. bargins

forgot to tell you about ds2, we went out for a meal on tues just gone and an old boy asked ds2 what his name was.... to which he replied Batman pmsl!

just done my night shift, was home in bed by 7.30 and ds2 slept till 10.00 as soon as he was awake he was poking me in the eyes, pulling my necklace brushing my hair over my face and generally refusing to let me sleep so am now cotching for the day in my pjs and being subjected to repeats of dr who by ds1, and ds2 who likes the daleks for some reason. may nap while he sits on my lap as dp at work and i will be a zombie if i dont get some shuteye

brought 2 of these for our bedroom this afternoon already have the massive chest of draws but only buy them when in the sale! we also have the tv unit, the book case and sideboard all from the same range as i like it sooo much. dp didnt know i was going to get them till i came home with them, otherwise he would have moaned about having to put them together, but i made one before he knew i had got them !lol

all we need now is a bedroom carpet then i can start on the bathroom

Jeez, I didnt. put my back out on xmas day and it went downhill from there. the kids had a ball, but I didnt. (boo!) I always end up ill at xmas.

had a family do and there is now a lot of carnage to deal with as inlaws have decided to get offended by some of my mother's drunken comments.

bloody family. why are the grandparents more trouble than the kids?

was in doctors today with back. she reckons to give it a week with codrydamol and if no better will refer me to physio. she is worried my posture is compromised through my broken coccyx.

also...have found musicmagpie.co.uk to sell all old cds and dvds, am up to £8 selling a lot of my teenage purchases will continue to sort them out tomorrow to raise funds and clear clutter!! I love typing in all the barcodes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i brought change by the lightning seeds today for £1 from a charity shop. i used to have the album and then lost it some where, i have a feeling my flatmate acquired it.

just switched on puter and my home pages is the sky news, big item about a fire in a nightclub in bangkock (or however you spell it!) which is where my brother is at the moment, so i just rang him (god knows how much that will be when my bill comes in!) and he went to th full moon party or something for new years eve instead with all his mates who are there as well.
thankgod for that, i had to have a little cry afterwards!! and i dont even feel as if we are close close iyswim, but just the panic that somethng had happened.! but all is ok.

off to the national trust heath at dunwich for a walk with parents and dog and children today as dp is working.

had a great night last night round my friends. i tried those vimto things, a bottle of blue wkd and 2 shots of port. they were lush, but i still cant see straight this morning. and i tried some of all the different rums she brought back from st lucia. wont be drinking for a long time again!!

yay i have a whole weekend off, im sooo tired after xmas and new year i could sleep all weekend. but have to get rid of xmas decs and have major tidy up to fit all the new toys in somewhere might be last one now, expect they will go soon

ds2 has just tipped the plastic box upside down to empty all his toys out and is now wearing it on his head!!!! dont know why i bother trying to tidy really.........

Love the house but it's flipping cold. We're not daring put on the gas fires until they're checked, and that happens on Monday, and a surveyor from the Energy Saving Trust is coming out on Monday too, to assess whether we can get cavity wall insulation and if we need any more loft insulation. We need to contact the council about double glazing on the front of the house. We think because it's in a conservation area, we either aren't allowed it, or are only allowed to get wood sash dg which we can't afford yet. Good news though we have a lovely couple who want to rent our old house. They've been told by the letting agents that they weren't allowed to see the house for over a week, and we've been desparate for someone to view since it's gone one.

And I walked into a door yesterday and look like a rugby player. I cut my nose on my glasses and upset dd I was crying so much. Dh of course thought it was hilarious, which was the right reaction to make me and dd stop crying.

Sounds like the sort of thing I do Jenn!
