He cannot understand why I think it's utterly that he hasn't had a bath or shower in 5 years. He thinks a good wash suffices I don't think it does!

How on Earth can I convince him? I shower once a day, and like to bathe the DD's at least every other day. How often do your DP/H's have a bath/shower?

dd1 fingers also bend the wrong way. and her thumb touchers her wrist.

DS1 can bend his fingers right back and they touch the back of his hand.

and then also right down to touch the inside of his wrist.

and he can also hold a pole and twist his shoulders over and back so, without letting go of the pole, he can then touch his bum (shoulders dislocate)

My dad is also a dirty bastard and never showers He strip washes at the sink but always has a tide mark on his neck. He doesn't smell of BO but he smells stale and musty.

My mum tried the old "you are not getting any sex till you start showering" and guess what?

They haven't had sex for about 10 years
He does shower on special occasions like my wedding last year,oh and xmas every year.

Think unless it's a phobia/skin condition/medical reason as mentioned there is no excuse for not showering!!

Dp doesn't care about the no sex rule as we never have sex . He says all the chemicals are bad for his skin and toothpaste is spawn of the devil I just think he is a skanky bastard. But as he dosn't expect me to go near his bits I don't mind!

Does he realise it is possible to clean his teeth without toothpaste? Also does he realise gum disease is linked to some forms of cancer.

I've a friend who worked in the courts, once a woman came in to divorce her husband on grounds of ureasonable behaviour, he hadnt washed in two years apparently. Friend said when the court room had been vacated it still stank to high heaven for ages afterwards....

Misdee - your Dh has super flexible fingers? Is he tall and skinny with long limbs too?

I might be way out of line here but I am currently having all sorts of tests due to having lots of markers for Marfans Syndrome and the bendy fingers/flexibility are a marker. It can affect the heart too.

My cousin died of SAD and another relative was diagnosed with Marfans and we are very similar.

I am prob rambling as Peter has seen loads of heart specialist.

washing regularly can be bad for your skin, it strips it of its natural defenses.

strip washing, if done properly, should be enough AND is an excellent way to save water which is a precious resource.

Having said that, I do bath six days a week minimum
DH five days a week; he goes in with DD on a week night.
