the rain is heavy and hard, and the road now looks like a river, but the worst is that DH just shouted to me to come look out the back door........the rain is lapping the bottom of the door

and there is a leak in the kitchen......

The parade went ahead we stood in the at times torrential rain for an hour waiting and then it held off while we did the actual parade. DD had such a lovely time.

Glad it went ahead so your dd could enjoy it,shame you had to tolerate the rain.

She is hard work but utterly delightful.

i think they are always hard work and it dosent always stop when they reach adulthood !!! but i wouldnt be without them for anything.
