Hulababy · 21/02/2005 10:25

Had some snow in Sheffield city centre this morning. Still a ittle bit in the air, but not much. Nothing has settled. Cold though.

Mum says there is snow in Doncaster too.

Enid · 21/02/2005 10:25

proper Dorzet

Enid · 21/02/2005 10:26

We thought we might go to Poole this weekend, is it nice, are there nice beaches?

SPARKLER1 · 21/02/2005 10:27

Yes the beaches aren't too bad. Not exactly the Seychelles but good enough. I'd wrap up warm though it's flippin' cold here.

Evesmama · 21/02/2005 10:31

oooh here it comes againaw its gorgeous
problem is, ive got driving test again soon and havent had a lesson in two weeks and no idea when next one will be

collision · 21/02/2005 10:33

We are in a snow blizzard here in Tuscany! It looks lovely but we are snowed in and I was going to go shopping today as we have no food! Will send DH into the restaurant to make bread in a minute!

SPARKLER1 · 21/02/2005 10:34

I want some snow!!! Actually it would be nice to get dds home from school first and then see their faces. I love it when it's been snowing and it's night time. It looks so light outside.

Evesmama · 21/02/2005 10:34

oooh, fresh bread and soup sat looking out at the snow whilst curled up in jarmies..bliss

SPARKLER1 · 21/02/2005 10:35

dreamy!!!!!

Kittypickle · 21/02/2005 10:35

Sparkler, it's not going to snow down here ever again as I bought a couple of sledges recently, so you can blame me !

SPARKLER1 · 21/02/2005 10:36

Hi KP. Sigh so it's all down to you is it?? How are you anyway?

Evesmama · 21/02/2005 10:37

and its gunna keep snowing here as we have a piece of fascia board missing from the peak thing on our roof from bad winds the other week, giving a lovley gap straight into our attic

Kittypickle · 21/02/2005 10:37

Cold, but very well thank you, are you OK ?

SPARKLER1 · 21/02/2005 10:38

Not too bad except I've done something to my back (there's another thread around here somewhere). It's nice to get the kids back to school today though - unfortunately I'm out of action to get on and do the 1000 jobs that need doing around here.

albert · 21/02/2005 10:42

Believe it or not, it's snowing hard here in Venice!! DS can't wait to come home from nursery and build a snowman, My journey into work this morning down the Grand Canal was like something out of a fairly tale - it is beautiful!

Evesmama · 21/02/2005 10:45

strange thing is though..we also had thunder and lightening with the snow last night????thats very freaky as t&l only happen in warm air dont they???

galaxy · 21/02/2005 10:45

It snowed in Camberley when I took dh to work this morning

Merlin · 21/02/2005 10:45

Sparkler - just heard them say on Wave ( I know I'm sad!!) that we may well get snow this afternoon! Meant to meeting my cousin in a park somewhere with the kids, but DS has another cold, I've also done something to my back (either baby is lying funny and/or I've pulled a muscle from too much coughing!) so, am thinking staying in the warm is probably the best idea. Hope your back feels better soon - can only suggest drugs, alcohol and a heat pad!!! Hi to KP too hope you are OK.
