Hi there folks. I had a fab time drinking too much, eating fab food and squirting milk down the toilet in a boat on the Thames.

I haven't donated blood for 3.5 years due to pregnancy etc, and have only managed about 7 units. I'm A- and my sister AB+. She donates clotting factors.

worley · 22/06/2008 18:51

glad you had a good time jenn, lol at you squirting milk down the toilet!! i hope you had good aim, and the water wasnt too rough!

been looking at chicken runs today, my mum has decided she wants some chickens, but the runs shes looked at are quite small, so shes trying to persuade my dad to turn the old budgie avery into a chicken coop.
then went to southwold for a beef roast dinner which was lush. an old lady came over and commented how good ds2 was and amazed that he sat there munching on broccoli as if it was sweets( he loves broccoli, he has piles of it) ds1 is at a beavers and cubs convention at gilwell, near epping forest, i had to drop him off at 6.45 this morning and he wont be back till about 8pm, he will be knackered when he gets home. they have been canoeing and rock climbing and god knows what else!!

im watching the gladiators and those women just cant quite make it up the travelator!!

OP posts:

I am a happy trollop!!

LOL at squirty milk

I wanna roast beef dinner too

Went to Loch Lomond sea life thing today. had the Tesco 2 for 1 voucher, just as well. I wasn't gonna pay £11 per adult!!
dd puked in car on way there, but perked up again when there and had the presence of mind to eat all of her cheese sandwich.

dh off for a week, so hopefully going to Blair Drummond on Wed. Not often we get chance to go these places, so making the most of it

worley · 23/06/2008 17:23

where did you find the missing ring??
ut, i just looked at your pics, it looks lovely there, i dint realise how big loch lomond must be!! is there a ferry in the back ground? does that go over the loch?
the only thing i really know about loch lomond is that oasis played there like a hundred years ago!! back when i had tickets to knebworth, not realising it was my aunties surprise 50th birthday party the same day, and i got so much grief from my family that i wasnt going that i sold mine to my friends friend (the friend i was supoosed tobe going with) and i was gutted as they were right at the fron and the tickets enabled them to get wrist bands that let them in the little front bit. GUTTED. i will never let my family forget that they made me miss out.

OP posts:
worley · 23/06/2008 17:24

and Ut, i looked at your other piccies and i noticed that you have such really clear blue eyes!! i want eyes like yours!!

The ring turned up inside the wooden chest I use as a coffee table. It must have got knocked into/placed there deliberately by the wee yin!

Loch Lomond is HUGE!!! (info here)
We were at Balloch on the southern shore. The boat you see is 'The Maid of the Loch'. She no longer sails but is a shop/cafe/bar. There is still a wee ferry that takes you round the Loch.

unfortunately the weather meant you can't see Ben Lomond (which I've climbed once and intend to climb again one day....)
You can actually see Ben Lomond from where we live! Bloomin' big hill

I can now hear gentle snoring so I'll tiptoe away now....

JennsterSlugSlayer · 23/06/2008 22:13

Yay for the ring.

May I just boast about getting down to 11 stone? Woooooo Hoooooo.

UberTrollop · 24/06/2008 08:07

Yaaaaaaay Jennster!!!!

JennsterSlugSlayer · 24/06/2008 17:41

[whispers] I've a sore throat and swollen glands. Neck up and groin tender. Feel like shoite and 2 bad tempered children. DS has been sick and awake all afternoon. He was well overdue a nap when I put him down, and he basically whinged for 2 hours, while I was desperate for a nap too.

WhipMeIndiana · 24/06/2008 20:25

Hi Worley, believe you like JPicoult too?

I just spent £17 on 3 Jodi Picoult books from Tesco I am so cross about my husband. did tesco shop online too as I get ripping braxtons if I dare go there now; end up bent double over the trolley. have no idea why, has happened both the last times I went...

did day 1 of potty training today with dd, after 8 wees on the floor she voluntarily sat on the potty and did one in it...so going to stick to it...

JennsterSlugSlayer · 24/06/2008 21:27

DH went voluntarily teatotal for the last month of my pg! Big feat for him beleive me!

worley · 24/06/2008 21:41

i love jodi books,
im reading change of heart at the moment, i couldnt wait any longer and brought the hardback version. when we went to the states a few years ago i brought some there and they still arent out here, so i have had to lend them out to my friends also. i have songs of the humpback whale and harvesting the heart.

i didnt know about the jodi group till you joined and it came up in my news feed!!

the week before i had ds2, dp had to go away for the weekend, as he had been booked to go away before i was even pregnant, so we decided he could go, and the morning he went was my last day at work, but that afternoon i got admitted to hospital!!!! i couldnt believe it, i had only finished work at 1pm and then went to see the midwife as i was swelling up and had the seeing fireworks in my eyes thing, but they let me go late eve and my parents made me stay with them for the weekend. i was then in the hospital every other day being monitored with the midwife coming to the house on my days off from the hospital, till in the end enough was enough and they induced me a week later.

OP posts:
worley · 24/06/2008 21:54

am now finishing off my tescons online shopping, i started it last week and keep thinking of things i didnt add, it will be here friday pm so better get it sorted out now.

somethings freaking me out.... a few weeks ago there was a really serious "accident" outside my hospital where a motorcyclist got knocked off his bike and was badly badly injured, he has now died. it turned out he was a local drug dealer/ganster person and there are no witnesses even though it was 11am on a really busy main road! anyway, just going through dp's emails (as he doesnt and i check them for him in case by some miracle his brother decides to email him, but no) and it says that this drug dealer has added dp as his friend!! so i searched him on facebook as i dont know dps facebook password, and i found this person and there is a picture of the bike under the car, and it has obviuosly been started up after he has died. SO i am really worried as to who has started this and who the hell has added dp as a friend?? i looked up his friends and i dont recognise any of them so am puzzled by it. dp didnt even know who the dealer was as neither of us had heard of him so how has this happened??

do you think i should report this to someone, that there are pictures of the accident on facebook, that i think only the police would have access to as the road was closed off to everyone, so how did they take photos of it all???

am i being silly?? sorry, dp isnt here to ask about it!here

OP posts:
JennsterSlugSlayer · 24/06/2008 22:05

That's weird and a little disturbing. Don't accept him as a friend obviously. It's likely a sick joke and not the real photo?

worley · 24/06/2008 22:57

it is the real photo from the accident, im kind of assuming its a police photo, as it was all sealed off. its really sick but dont know who would send it to him.

dp isnt home yet so i cant discuss it with him. it has to be someone he knows or knows him through someone else, dp isnt from this area and doesnt have any friends that i dont know either if you know what i mean,, actually unless its someone at his work that i dont know, but its disturbing that they have searched him and sent it to him as he isnt in any of the groups that the person is in either.. dp has till 11 then i have to go to bed as im falling alseep here, and adding to much crap to my shopping, my mouth is drooling, just added some mr kipling apple pies mmmm and croisont(sp?) for breakfast mmmm.

OP posts:
UberTrollop · 25/06/2008 18:02

I'm with jenn. Block the person.
Possibly mistaken identity???

Very creepy though.
Worth mailing FB to report??

WhipMeIndiana · 25/06/2008 19:50

yeah fb can get involved if dodgy.....

have lost my bloomin pregnany notes now!!! cant believe it.

after the 2nd day of 'potty training HELL' I am going to stick her in pull ups and chill out a bit, making myself depressed and exhausted wiping up wee from everywhere.

Had to laugh when she peed on her new little baby trampoline though
'mummy mummy!! Jump Jump Jump...Wet!'

JennsterSlugSlayer · 25/06/2008 21:04

whipme, Why not just put her back in nappies for a few months, but make sure she sits on the potty first thing in the morning and last thing at night, when you regularly get wees in the potty, then try again. Honestly, dd took 3 days the second attempt, even though she was pretty good the first time. Pullups are ok, but they are still nappies. We went cold turkey. All or nothing. If they don't know they are wet (like in nappies) then it's more difficult.
