i've had a chest infection for a few days and bad asthma, so have been on antibiotics and inhalers again, but this afternoon i got caught using my inhaler by an ae dr who made me come and see him for treatment, so hes given me stronger antibiotics and steroids !!
and even better no charge ( i had a shock a few weeks ago when i went to pay for my prescription then how much it all was for antibiotics and inhalers)
save me having to ring the receptionist at m surgery tomorrow now and justifying an emergency appt.

Have you tried holiday discount centre or Ebay?? (Ebay????)

What about your local travel agent too

(I realise you've probably done all this and more, but I'm bored )

VoodooCoconut · 26/03/2008 20:34

bonjourno drunken bunny

hi worley hope you're feeling better

hi Jenn have a good holiday with the night garden toys (why did you wash them?)[puzzled and somewhat guilty, never pre-wash dds toys?]

was sick again last night. thought it had all finished ohhh no. put my back out again, last night was pure agony I was up 4 times, it hurts right down my leg. bloody pregnancy sucks ass. well fed up.

Macdog · 27/03/2008 09:48

Hey Voods, Welcome back !!!

Macdog · 27/03/2008 16:41

WARNING - proud mummy alert!!!

dd jumped into the swimming pool from standing today for the first time EVER
(she normally sits on the edge and tips herself in)
Today she got the courage together to jump!!
(I am a VERY proud mummy)

jennster · 28/03/2008 20:24

Well done Macpup! Wish I could get to a swimming pool with the two children. I might feel up to is soon. This holiday has been fab! DD was so well behaved with her cousins. Her speech has improved fantastically even if she is calling dh and I by our Christian names.

I washed the toys for the same reason I wash brand new clothes. They spray all sorts of shit on to them, so like to get it washed off before the fine patina of jennster household dirt, food, vomit and stains take a hold.

OK so I've just spent a week drinking too much, I'm not pregnant and possibly weigh more than I did 2 weeks ago but what a fab time we've had. The house was enormous! The children got lost in it. Will fill you in more when I've got more time.

Macdog · 29/03/2008 13:13

Glad you had good time!!

We love swimming so much, I'm so lucky that we can go so often

worley · 30/03/2008 12:43

thanks macdog, i havnt looked at those, never even thought of ebay!
went shoppping yesterday, (even though i worked friday night, i got a few hours sleep at work and a couple in the morning) then went to norwich as had to get ds1 some new clothes. good old H&M, got ds2 a little cardigan to which looks so cute, its kind of david beckham/grandad style! i wash new clothes to, dp thinks im wierd. and got lots of lush stuff, i had a 10% voucher so used that as an excuse to buy extra!

we got a bike seat for ds2 on thrursday so were all off out again later to wizz round the lanes... well it take ds1 a while to get going, he is terrible on his bike, he just cant seem to get the hang of it at all! i thought once you knew how to ride a bike that was it, but not him it takes about 5 mins to actually kick off and get anywhere! ds2 can pedal his well it used to be ds1's)3 wheeler already!!

Macdog · 30/03/2008 20:16

Don't know what those sites will be like, not used them myself but it might work out for you

Looking forward to getting out on the bikes again myself when the weather warms up a bit.
We've bought dd a Run Bike a couple of weeks ago. It's supposed to teach them to balance on a bike while scooting it along with their feet. She's a bit wee for it yet, but she's starting to get the hang of it. We've also arranged to borrow a couple from the shop for Toddler group in April.

Had a really good weekend! Hit TKMaxx yesterday and got new walking shoes (Hi-Tec £8!) and new trainers ([[http://www.peltzshoes.com/item.asp?invnum=26463-51171 ECCO £13!!) as well as a load of new socks (always needed!!!!)
Got dd a load of crafty stuff today. She loves to glue its and bits to make pictures. 'The Works' have loads of wee cheap bits that are ideal. Great way to kill a wet afternoon!!

Hope everyone is ok, catch up soon

Macdog · 30/03/2008 20:17

OOPS

Should have been
ECCO £13!!!

Blardy links!

Macdog · 01/04/2008 12:31

Got the black dog on my shoulder today

jennster · 01/04/2008 14:03

How about his image Macdog, DD walking around in my fab new red shoes, and then they are full of wee. We are potty training and she hasn't quite got the hang of it yet.

Macdog · 01/04/2008 14:45

at lovely image!!

Peeing down with rain as well which doesn't help.
Yesterday was summery and dd was in garden all pm playing with sandpit and drawing chalk pictures on the path.

Lost my wedding ring somewhere in the house....send me some positive, helpful finding thoughts as well please.....

worley · 01/04/2008 16:27

sitting here with ds2 on my knee, he stood next to me crying till i picked him up, and then he still wasnt happy, i thought he wanted to hit the keys and then realised he had his eyes on my plum that i got out to eat! so hes sitting and tucking in instead.

i trappeed a nerve in my elbow yesterday, i ended up in tears it was sooo painfull. i still have a tingly little finger today but not as painfull as last night.
