we got to 1000 again....made me reminisce about our original thread all those months ago

Longleat is where they film I think, and we of course will have to visit the animals (and sexy Ben Fogle of course..., maybe I have a thing for posh boys at the mo).

Postcards? Do they still exist? I might send a text if you're lucky!

God I really must get off this computer. DD keeps shouting and then going quiet. DS2 is still sound asleep. Really ought to wake him up, but then he will just cry til he is fed, and that wont be for another half hour. How am I supposed to keep them awake in the day? If they don't want to be awake it is near on impossible. Any suggestions? DD was a right pain last night, I was even worried for a while as she was so sleepy and wouldn't wake up to feed. She made up for it later and screamed for 2 hours though (during DHs shift ).

oops

Dropdeadfred · 03/03/2008 10:54

I find it amazing how organised you are with them...especially their feeding. I always fed dd3 whenever she squawked..(hence her being permanently attached to me for 11 months)
but how do you know when they are hungry or not?

I just remembered to switch my phone on.

It is "retrieving" pic, so it may be a while.

Have to brave the big, bad dog in a mo... wish me luck

Dropdeadfred · 03/03/2008 11:09

Good Luck squonk!!

Egg, they are soooc ute. I don't think 'fatty and Scabby' are quit as endearing names as nemo and Dory were..

OP posts:
Egg · 03/03/2008 11:12

ooooh good luck Squonk, sounds a bit scary (well a lot scary). I don't think it is unreasonable at all to ask them to keep the dog inside at school run times. Poor DS thank god no cars were coming.

Was just about to remove DS2's nappy when he started doing his annual poo (ok more like every 36 hrs but he does enough for a year's worth). Thank GOD I was not 2 mins earlier. MN saved me from being covered in poo.

fryalot · 03/03/2008 11:13

Thank God for MN

Good luck Squonk, sending bravery vibes your way.....

Egg - glad that MN saved you from a major poo incident . Pics are so cute but poor dd (I think?) with the scabby face.
My dd suffered really badly with milk rash as well when she was 6 weeks old, we went through mountains of savlon. Have never been to a CP but looking forward to hearing your report!

Did the savlon help? Was putting almond oil on but think it is making it worse . It is only her forehead, not on her actual head (ie under hair etc). It's like cradle cap but on forehead. DS2 is a bit dry but nothing like DD.

I took DS2's nappy off too soon, but thankfully was not hit with the second or third mountains of poo. He just drained a full bottle of milk so it obviously made him feel hungry!

Fred forgot to say, I can tell when they are hungry as they do a different type of cry, it is relentless despite being picked up etc, if you put your finger (or anything) near their mouths they suck away!

Got to feed DD now. Phono will check email shortly .

Dropdeadfred · 03/03/2008 12:12

Think I might call the HV and ask what is suitable. It is basically just really really dry and flakey. Quite hideous. Thank god it is winter so I can ensure she is covered with a hat so nobody can see!

Egg · 03/03/2008 12:38

egg - have you tried baby oil? Or the baby oil gel that Johnsons do? Ds had a bit of a scabby head and that was sorted out with oil.
