If you were a single parent with three kids but no family to go and visit or to invite over.
Any ideas on a great place in the UK or overseas to take a three, four and five year old??

is there a misconception in your perception of me?!

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 09:08

nope, i'm just a perfect judge of character

lou33 · 02/11/2004 09:10

I'm going off to practise harder!

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 09:13

Good luck!!

jmg1 · 02/11/2004 09:50

Beetroot, I'm not sure. My neighbour who is Irish says that Galway gets even more rain than we do here!
Skiing is a nice idea but could be a bit much with three kids the age of mine.
So it could come down to a family orientated UK Hotel or somewhere about four hours flight away for sun and beach!

Well if you're looking for sun, Cornwall is NOT good atm - we're getting flooded - not good holiday stuff!!!

coppertop · 02/11/2004 10:06

WK knows her place - under the heel of my shoe.

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 10:08

Ooh arrr - them's fightin words missus!!! You know you're only getting bitchy because you couldn't hold your own with the big girls on that other damn thread!!!

coppertop · 02/11/2004 10:10

Pah! None of you have managed to beat my record yet though. That thread was mine for a whole week so ner-ner-ner-ner-ner!

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 10:12

Just because the rest of us were busy drooling - Bunglie had PS, I had HJ, not telling you about wigwambam (!). You only had Wesley Crusher, not surprised that didn't take up much of your time!!!

coppertop · 02/11/2004 10:16

You lot just couldn't handle the pressure of being the new Threadkilling Queen. I had to take over while you composed yourselves and prepared for the long battle ahead. Pah!

This isn't really giving you any holiday ideas though, is it jmg? Should we sully your thread with lots of smutty innuendo about needing to be taken firmly in hand?

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 10:19

We can handle the threadkilling pressure - just not the pressure of having such good looking blokes to stare at!!!! Kind of saps your concentration, trust me, you'll know when you start fancying blokes that have to shave!!

Probably shouldn't sully jmg's thread but he's used to it by now and he'd be disappointed if we didn't. Will deal with you in bar later ct!!!

coppertop · 02/11/2004 10:26

Wahey!

wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 10:27

Don't get too excited ct - will probably just make you sit in the back room with WC as your punishment!!

lou33 · 02/11/2004 10:39

I'd go for the sun option jmg. Beaches are always the best days fun for kids imo.

jmg1 · 02/11/2004 10:44

Well I might go for being taken firmly in hand!

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 02/11/2004 10:45

jmg - you'll have to queue behind ct in the bar tonight - i can only deal with one of you at once!!

coppertop · 02/11/2004 10:46

Now why does that not surprise me, jmg?

jmg1 · 02/11/2004 10:49

I have a better idea - you can all deal with me!
