started this new thread as the old one was about sensitive matters.
relieved that many other feel that this site has become 'restricted'.
many subjects discussed have been close to home for me, however i have tried to offer advice rather than condem someone for discussing it and raking up my feelings.
hope things start to get better otherwise, will have to revert back to watching rubbish on telly.

tammybear · 11/10/2004 20:46

lol, well i had told her about dp wanting to move in with me next year yesterday which was bad enough but today i was asking my mum to make an effort to really get on with dp now as i dont want them to not get on, as my mum is always round so it will be terrible for them to not get on iyswim. but she's quite happy about it so i was quite relieved

EvesMama · 11/10/2004 20:48

maybe cos she can see its 'serious'? shes prepared to make more of an effort?
that must have made you happy hearing that?
whens the big day gunna b?

yeah, it was a bit of a relief. it won't be till next year but gives us plenty of time to sort things out. even started a thread about it on here for help lol she was also pointing out what we need to consider etc but i suppose that's just typical mother nature

EvesMama · 11/10/2004 20:53

OP posts:
tammybear · 11/10/2004 20:56

Just had a yummy tea of pork chops cooked by dh followed by the famous Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pud - yum!!

tammybear · 11/10/2004 21:12

lol evesmama, will be thinking of you then. i failed my 1st, but dp says all good drivers fail their first test, but i think he jst said that as he passed 1st time and didnt want to rub it in.

hi skate, that sounds yummy

EvesMama · 11/10/2004 21:19

i failed my first when i was 17 and regret not taking it straight again. i DO feel more ready now and am looking forward to getting out and about with dd, visiting whilst dp(once he gets new job) is back at work. have sister in law with dd three months younger than dd living in hartlepool, so although a distance now, would be just up the road when upwardly mobile! dead nervous tho, did mock test few weeks ago and got 3 major fails for dat things like indicator coming of when turning!!!"!!i didnt bloody now anyone down!!!
