At a vet clinic

NutterlyUts · 14/09/2007 21:26

South, if it makes quote of the week i'm going into hiding

Toots · 14/09/2007 21:28

God I'm sorry Nutterly but it's a grower. It's getting funnier every time I look at it.

pollywollydoodle · 14/09/2007 21:29

black shoes on all preschool girls make their feet look like boats....

pollywollydoodle · 14/09/2007 21:30

coco why did you leave your kids at a vet clinic?

NutterlyUts · 14/09/2007 21:31

It makes me laugh remember it, but it also shames me so much.. How on earth did I not realise?!
Dim person alert

WaynettaVonSlob · 14/09/2007 21:32

I am not really WaynettaSlob

AuntJetPetunia · 14/09/2007 21:32

Definitely quote of the week for me.

Also liked the "stroll around the garden" one. I must admit I do a fair bit of strolling as well. But I dont sniff my noonoo. I draw the line there.

NutterlyUts · 14/09/2007 21:34

Surely The Dog Incident is too long for quote of the week? [hopeful face]

magnolia74 · 14/09/2007 21:37

I really don't stroll my garden very often, maybe I should

cocolepew · 14/09/2007 21:37

I got a new mobile at the weekend and set the alarm on it to pick ds1 up from school, (not that I would forget). It rang in the playground with 'school' on the screen. I answered it. After the third' HELLO'? and pushing random buttons, I remembered and said 'No, it's not a good time to talk.. See you later.'

magnolia74 · 14/09/2007 21:40

@ coco

cocolepew · 14/09/2007 21:40

I didn't mention a vet, though our hamster did die this week. I left them at home and I stayed overnight in London.

magnolia74 · 14/09/2007 21:41

If I am walking on my own and maybe a bunch of rowdy teenagers are ahead I pretend to be on my phone. This happened last week but then the phone rang while I was already talking

Toots · 15/09/2007 09:20

Oh I like these phone stories.

Toots · 15/09/2007 09:41

Sorry to go on about it Nutterly but your dog post is so beautifully phrased, the information flows out so tenderly. And I'm laughing as much as 'UCM is that you?' now. (Respect, UCM)

NutterlyUts · 15/09/2007 09:59

LOL

The UCM moment still makes me smile. Poor UCM.. that's never gonna die

Toots · 15/09/2007 11:08

That's true, no matter how pretty it was, that's right....it's not going to die.
D'you see what I did there?

mytwopenceworth · 15/09/2007 11:14

I think half of you are bonkers.

But I'd never say so.

oh...

And I type out some really REALLY blunt advice and comments but delete them all because I don't think you could handle it in the spirit intended. I think you'd get mad. And I don't want to fight.

JeremyVile · 15/09/2007 11:27

Similar to MTPW...

I type some pretty harsh things that I really want to say but I realise that I will be called to explain, questioned, berated, contradicted etc etc.

So I dont bother posting as it would take too much time and effort to reply to the subsequent posts - I sooo admire those who can post and walk away without feeling the need to reply to the replies.

I'm working on that one.

NutterlyUts · 15/09/2007 11:30

The last 2 posts aren't aimed at us on this thread specifically are they?

mytwopenceworth · 15/09/2007 11:34

heehee...Paranoid????

NutterlyUts · 15/09/2007 11:35

Yeah!!

Rhubarb · 15/09/2007 11:36

I really do have pixies in my flange.

JeremyVile · 15/09/2007 11:37
