Carla:

  • try clicking on My Computer on your desktop

  • right, don't just double click on the CD drve icon, or the autoplay will start again

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 21:52

Instead, right click on icon with your mouse. And choose something like OPEN

That should then bring up the file names and folder lists on the picture disk

Does that work so far?

charliecat · 17/09/2004 21:54

I never get my digital ones put into REAL photos I have an unhealthy addiction with my 35mmzoom camera, i have more than 35 photo albums of my kids, I think it has to do with the fact my mum left my dad in a hurry and left most of our photos behind, my sisters the same.

charliecat · 17/09/2004 21:55

well done hula, if it does we are seconds away from a result!

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 21:56

Every so often I upload some ofmy digital photos from my computer onto a disk or my Flash card, and take them to Jessops or Boots. DD loves looking at pohotos and I have a big album for her where I ut proper cpies of relevant and important photographs for her. Had 80 printed from our Florida holiday recently. Cost me £15 though

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 21:57

Carla - does it work?

carla · 17/09/2004 21:58

charliecat.

charliecat · 17/09/2004 21:59

50 for 5 quid in Bonusprint, you can burn them to disk and they will do them from there if you havent got a memory card/stick thingy(i havent which is why i asked in the shop) I think thats a bargain.

carla · 17/09/2004 21:59

Give me 5 mins ....

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 21:59

Oh no.

There HAS to be away to download these images at least on your hard drive??? That's the whole point of picture disks.

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:00

CC - definitely a bargain!

charliecat · 17/09/2004 22:04

Totally off track here but im reading a thread on Ebay about shockingly funny things that have happened to people and heres one that made me chuckle...bit rude though...

Okay, am trying to think of the best way to word this. One Sunday afternoon I sloped off to bed for a nap. I was a single mom and had been for years and so had to 'amuse' myself iyswim!

Anyway, I just switched my gadget on when a voice pipes up 'Is that a vibrator mommy?!' Unbeknown to me, my 7 year old son had come into my bedroom and was sitting, reading a book on the floor at the end of my bed! I am still cringing about it, 7 years on! ough

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:05

Eeeeekkkkk!!!!

carla · 17/09/2004 22:06

Eff all happened with a click or a double click. Charlie, when email's up and running could I send this disk to you????

charliecat · 17/09/2004 22:08

what you can email the contents? If so yes feel free my email is pennyandpaddy at yahoo . co.uk

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:09

Go for it CC Hope you have some success!

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:11

Hnag on - if you can e-mail the contents, how do they come though? As individual images? If so, e-mail them to yourself too Carla. Then save them to your hard drive.

Or, do you mean you will get CC's address and post her the disk snail mail?

charliecat · 17/09/2004 22:11

why is your email not working btw?

carla · 17/09/2004 22:12

OK CC ... if you're going down that road ... Picked up dds ( 6 and 4 ) from school today, and 6yo said there was going to be a pets day. Discussion in back of car .. 4yo said 'let's take Max. Oh no, he's too sniffy bottomy ....

Hulababy · 17/09/2004 22:15

Can I add my own recent embarrassing story then?

Dd is nearly 2.5 years old now. In Mothercare on Monday buying a nightie for her. Assistant was lovely and chatting away to DD. DD then turned round, put her finger right up her nose, took it out and looked at it and decared to assistant "Wow, look. I have big bogies"

Nightmare. Paid very quickly and left. No wonder we are selling up to get into a decent state catchement area - can't send her private saying things like that

carla · 17/09/2004 22:15

GOD ... it is now ... after five days! CC, can I CAT you?

charliecat · 17/09/2004 22:18

that takes ages, ive just put my email address on this thread a few messages down..

carla · 17/09/2004 22:20
