Day off today . DD is at nursery but I am going to collect her after her lunch around 12:30 Might go into town for a walk after that. And I have promised DD she can do some home cooking - so she is going to make daddy some burgers. This morning I haven't done much really - a bit of food shopping, a bit of tidying and not much more!

nutcracker · 09/09/2004 11:21

Snap Nik, I'm bored and fed up.

AussieSim · 09/09/2004 11:41

I went to a Pilates class, did some grocery shopping, DS and I had lunch, DS went to bed, watched Dr Phil, US Tennis Open and Oprah, while reorganising my pantry and ironing, DS woke, put a load of washing on, took some bean bags over to our new family day car mum DS starts next Tuesday and had a cup of tea, came home made DS dinner, cooked my own, watched more telly, put DS in bed, hung out a load of washing and now on MN - DH is out tonite.

anorak · 09/09/2004 11:54

well, still not done any tidying - just being on pooter, grabbing a shower and feeding ds

Hulababy · 09/09/2004 15:13

Well I have even been into town. Bought DD some ballet shoe style slippers in shiny lilac, a Disney Princess nightie and some Disney Princess socks. Yes, she is very girly And got both me and Dh some new undies - very exciting! And some flowers for the rooms.

Now, what to do tomorrow??? Actually might go and see my nana with DD as she has recently come out of hosital. Oh, and need to clean apartment as have a viewing on Saturday!

Frenchgirl · 09/09/2004 15:19

frenchie's day so far:
took dd to school, went to supermarket, came home, did internet work (proper work I mean, not MN...), walked puppy and took him to new local farmer's market, made beds, got stuff ready for French teaching, taught french to 2 classes in school, had lunch at home, played with puppy, did some more internet work, got fed up and looked at MN, now must get ready and collect dd who's bringing BF home for tea. Still haven't washed breakfast plates, will do it NOW

tammybear · 09/09/2004 15:20

Today I went into town, went for a reason but couldnt remember it so instead I went and brought dd her first pair of shoes! Cost me £28 though! I dont spend that amount on me!! But they're really nice.
From Clarks. Had no clue on where else to go for kids shoes except Barratts and Mothercare but they have Clarks anyway!

Jennisaurus · 09/09/2004 17:17

Got up at 5 and had to have a bath because my shower is broken. Sorted dd out and left her with my dh to take to nursery.

Went to work 7-2. Came home picked the baby up, bought her some clothes, played with her, and now she is asleep next to me and I am online.

nikcola · 10/09/2004 15:16

Procastinating!!! that's what I have done today! , which is only a fancy way to say I haven't done anything, the house is a mess, I should be studying and I'm not which means I'm also wasting all the money we have spent today in child care... puff! at least I have had some good conversations in Mumsnet to ease the guilt
