Have been discussing names for the baby with DH, we both like Eden for a boy, so we are sorted on that one, but DH like Leeanna and I like Ellie for a girl. We can't decide on the girl name.. help

Ellie would go well with your other dc's names SGK

I used to think the same as Maisy re Saskia but dd has a friend of that name who is a gorgeous little aquaintances change your opinions of names.

Meant to say..

why don't you and dh make a list of names you both like. then make a new list of the names you both picked and whittle it down from there.

sparklygothkat · 24/05/2007 00:24

we might have to, something we can never decide on till right before (or after in DS's case) the birth

OP posts:
LongDistanceClara · 24/05/2007 00:26

I don't think Ellie quite goes with the other names, or Eden. Not that they have to go with them, of course - they're individuals

How about Lauren? Or Laura?

have a look here for some ideas

sparklygothkat · 24/05/2007 00:28

lol, Misdee's middle daughter is Lauren. Don't think that would work

OP posts:
sparklygothkat · 24/05/2007 00:29

we both do like Emily but Dh's best friend's daughter is called Emily, though I am sure they wouldn;t mind us using the name, it doesn;t feel right to do

LOL! I was thinking "I'm sure there's a reason Lauren's not going to work, but I can't quite put my finger on it"

Sorry, Misdee! Am a dope!

OK, how about...

Grace?
Charlotte?
Jessica?

Finlay?
Nathan?
Liam?

Leeanna is a very "trailer park" name in the US--if that matters to you. I also know 2 Edens and both are girls.
