Have been discussing names for the baby with DH, we both like Eden for a boy, so we are sorted on that one, but DH like Leeanna and I like Ellie for a girl. We can't decide on the girl name.. help

Lol Peppermint we did that list too
Good luck ttc

LoveAngel · 23/05/2007 21:39

Eden isn't to my taste, but I do know two Edens and both are boys (one is a man, actually!).

Ellie is cute. Quite popular, although not nearly as popular as Ella (at least in north/ east London!).

Agree that Leanna with one 'e' is far prettier than with two.

WestCountryLass · 23/05/2007 21:41

I like Eden for a boy, bit different but notcompletely way out there.

I am not fond of Leeanna or Ellie. Both are nice enough names but Leeanna sounds a bit, uhm, common and Ellie is really popular. What about Leah or Eleanor?

BettySwallocks · 23/05/2007 21:41

Betty is nice

sparklygothkat · 23/05/2007 23:30

what do people think of Olivia? I really like it.

choosyfloosy · 23/05/2007 23:34

Olivia is lovely. Very popular atm I believe.

don't suppose Lianna appeals?

Juliet?

nappyaddict · 23/05/2007 23:36

i like ellie. don't like leeanna but like liana.

eden sounds more like a girls name to me.

sparklygothkat · 23/05/2007 23:37

how is Liana said. I have 2 cousins, one called Lana and one called Alana so can't have anything that is similar

CheesyFeet · 23/05/2007 23:48

My sister is Ellie, although her name is Eleanor on her birth certificate, no-one calls her that. I think it is a gorgeous name and would have called dd Ellie had my Mum not pinched it

Eden is also fab, boy or girl. Met a little girl called Eden once who was called Edie as a nickname and I thought that was cute

nappyaddict · 23/05/2007 23:48

is it al - lan - ah or a - lar - nah?

nappyaddict · 23/05/2007 23:50

edie is sweet. also like scarlett, addison (addy) and madison (maddy). my sister wants to call her dd (when she has one) summer or autumn.

sparklygothkat · 23/05/2007 23:54

but that will be deleted as I don;t like putting my kid's names on here

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 23/05/2007 23:54

boys names are so much easier to pick. girls names are just so pretty and i like them all.
