Nikola pull yourself together - DD will get loads of love and attention at nursery - she will make new friends, do lots of lovely colouring, sticking, painting and generally ruining all fo her clothes!! and above all she will benefit from you being a better person in the respect that you will have more time, patience and confidence and so will be a better mummy. (Sorry that sounds quite harsh doesn't it!!)

DD has been going to a childminder for the last 2 years and we still have tears every so often when she is having a shitty day - just like when I sit here and think I can't be doing with coming to work - I am sure it is the same for her - soon stops though when her lovely childminder opens the door and askes her what disgustingly sticky ceral she wants for breakfast (she get toast or sugar free at home - good job she only there for another few weeks or she'd have no teeth left!!)

Also I used to be a childminder and I can tell you that even the most tearful child would stop within 15 minutes once they realised that the histronics would get them no where and if they actually stopped crying they would be having lots of fun with the other kids that I looked after - kids that they would not get to play with if they were at home with mummy!!

well i rang dd,s nursery and the maneger lady was very nice but i think she thinks im mad dd is going for 2 hours on thursday and i might stay or leave depends how she is and for all morning on friday , and i also spkoke to her about my timetable and she said we can sort it out on thurdsday yey

Nik my dd's nursery think I am mad too but it does not matter I ahve changed her days twice already and term hasn't stared properly yet don't worry I hope you get your books It always feel s nice getting them - i make a note of things I don't get in college and read about them at home or if I am really organised I read about whta we are doing teh next week

I 've just finished my access course and am about to start BA in Social work so hopefully will be able to get a job when dd is bigger and treat her like mad - first three weeks are alwwys all over teh place because colleges always double book lecturers

ok another reason why im pissed off today im starting collage on mondat a long 4 year period where i will be working for my goal and working hard, this is a very big step for me and none of my family have even bothered with me i no they didnt anyway but they could try they all no im starting on monday,

how can family be so mean they could at least ring me and say good luck but no they are too busy or dont give a f**k,

But you mners people that havent even meet me bothered didnt you thank you again for the book tokens tis just proves that blood isnt thicker than water !!!!!!

Well done - excellent result with the nursery, Nikcola, that will help DD lots, and re-assure you. Maybe stay with her on Thu and then leave her on Fri?

Yeah - no stars to your family - you're right to feel angry with them, but we MN-ers know how hard you have struggled to get on this course, and we're right behind you!

My course was fab I chose to do a Foudation degree in Community Health and socuial cos I couldbnot decide what to do - graduated last week and start agin Monday so it will have been 5 years by the time I finish it seems a long time but it goes quick as your 4 years will adn you get to enjoy long summers with your dd - I am glad things at the nursery are looking good I stayed with dd the first visit and the second she was fine after awhile on her own. I am sorry your family aren't being supportive, but you can do this - If I can help you in anyway with teh studying whether motivation or to help you find something out let me know .

I am starting at college on monday too nickola. I hope it goes well for you. I am really excited though suddenly a bit nervous. Its nice to have that september, start of something new feeling though, it sounds like yours is a good new start too. gothicama, i'm doing social work too, i like the sound of a study group, okay if i join too? okay... i do just want another excuse to go on mn rather than study !

i no i am a bit nervous i feel really old there (even though im the youngest in my class)

god you no what mi i have absolutly no clothes i never go out so all i have is staying in scruffs

i think ill have to beg my mom, still no good luck from my dad/mom or other family but you no what when im a nurse i bet they wanna no me then but they can get stuffed
