We've got 16 episodes of Midsomer Murders recorded on our box. God knows when we'll get to watch them. As they're two hours long, it's a miracle if one or both of us doesn't fall asleep.

Loved Peter and Jane's review of Poldark. I'm totally with the writer, I just can't take it seriously. With all the cloak and dagger stuff in France I fully expected an 18th century version of René and Yvette to turn up at any moment. Also, yay for little Jeremy, if only briefly.

Can I just ask why manufacturers of sanitary protection products still feel it necessary or desirable to make scented products? Why? Just why the fuck why? Or at least make it clear on the packaging that it's scented. I think the word "fresh" was their descriptive choice. I know it's been said before but I do not see the need for my fanjo to smell of a pine-scented forest or whatever synthetic crap they use. What next? Mmm that new car smell? Buy one box, get a money off voucher for your next purchase of Canesten?
