Mine is asleep on the couch. I'm debating whether to take a tenner out of his pocket and go and get myself a bottle of wine.

themoon66 · 10/03/2007 21:00

Mine is on the sofa watching telly and getting cross with DS. I remember when Saturday nights were exciting.

LilyLoo · 10/03/2007 21:01

ledodgy · 10/03/2007 21:01

What happened to Sat nights?

mytwopenceworth · 10/03/2007 21:07

i'll talk!

my husband is in the gas meter cupboard which we've converted into a little space for him to use his special 'flight simulator' (pc with software and yoke and pedals)

i am in the doghouse because he invited our bil to have a go but he said

"come and have a look at my cockpit, see if you fit" (bil is 6ft4 and its a very small space)

but i giggled. well, laughed. a lot.

and now i'm in trouble for a)being dirty, b)being childish and c)being dirty and childish in front of people.

LilyLoo · 10/03/2007 21:08

BandofMothers · 10/03/2007 21:14

LOL, my2pence. I'd have sniggered too. Boys and their toys!!!!

MN is not the same thing at all, as very sophisticated and grown up. LOL

Sorry, bit drunk.

chocolatemummy · 10/03/2007 21:15

mine would either be Ibiza, late night o the beach nicely drunk and thinking of every possible way not to have to go home!
or
Glastonbury probably-copious amounts of drugs and amazing story telling from lots of strange people

My best one was my friend's 40th b'day bash a few months ago. She had a dj & party in a room above a local pub and had a really good playlist to boogie on down to. We really let our hair down and got a bit silly with some helium balloons....

chocolatemummy · 10/03/2007 21:20

yes its sad when we have to have our own private party to be able to dance and like any of the music played isnt it.
God help us being the embarassing parents at our childrens weddings-cliffe Richard and Meat Loaf arent my thing yet gladly

SherlockLGJ · 10/03/2007 21:25

My DH is asleep on the couch, he has been promoted at work and still settling in. But Lord God it has made him dull........sorry sleepy.

This is further compounded by the fact that I have had no BroadBand for about 3 days, ergo I forgot to go to the MN hen night meetup in London tonight.

MN meetup/DH asleep on the couch......... Let me think.............

chocolatemummy · 10/03/2007 21:28

Lilyloo
Yes i went with ex BF too!

I would do anyhing to have one week of being single and childless and debtless and just go back to Ibiza and do it all again
