I can't remember last time I used a cash point either and who knows what my PIN is? I always just use my cards when shopping or get cash back if I need cask - or get DH to pick some up on way home!

coddy - when FIL wnet for his computer training - he was a police sargeant - he was clueless. He actually called the mouse a rabbit!

dh gets our money out and then we divvy it up as othewise both of us were getting too much cash out.

we bought a video in the small ads as students and the remote control was a long lead with a dial you could make th t i go fwds or bckwds

coddy - no, don't oppose cash machines just never use them,. Got out of habit when at my first school as no bank near there and didn't live near one either. So DH would get me cash on way home from work - works in city cnetre. Never got back into habit.

personally hate mobile phones - have one, but generally is buried at the bottom of my bag and I never answer it! Drives everyone up the wall....I hate the fact everyone thinks that because you have one you HAVE to answer it...

Oh I know; I am dreading having to learn a PIN for my cards. Hope I can choose it. LOL

pollingfold - I love my PDA Yes, it is a glorified notebook, address book and diary - but I get to play solitaire in the headmaster's meetings - and hhe just thinks I am making notes I sue it for other stuff as well though - and I can use it to transfer photos from my camera phone to my PC.

roisin - shortly when you buy something with your cards instead of signing you will have to enter a PIN into a little machine. Supposed to be more secure.

My parents don't use cashpoints either, and very, very rarely use plastic either! My mum always has wads and wads of cash in her wallet.

Personally I've been beaten by the DVD player.

my pet hate is women who dont
a) drive on motorways - get a life and
b) dont know their own mobile number....saddos

( oh and special venom is reserved for those wh o put parking tickets int ehir mouthe as they drive around)

I do (a) all the time and actually prefer motorway driving to driving on little roads. Don't know (b) own mobile nu,mber though. I have it saved in my phone, on my PV, adddress book and PDA though. Infact I don't think I know anyone's mobile number, I have simply never had to know it. Can't really understand why I'd need to either. But there you go.
