We've had the wedding. We've had Christmas. Or, as I refer to it: THE MOST AMAZING CHRISTMAS EVER.

Now it's onward one day at a time.

I was v impressed at my 3 all FOR ONCE (and FidBoy1 is 19) up and getting ready before I called them So emboldened by my maternal success I went back to the utility room. Bloody rat is back. Jolt.

DD puked up yesterday morning, she says her tummy feels bubbly, so no school today, we're currently in the Sainsbury's café, she's just polished off half a ham and cheese toastie and my breakfast hasn't even arrived yet!

Morning all. I'm off to fracture clinic with DD (the big one) to have her broken fingers checked.

Bath the nurseries round here have a 48 hour rule for sickness and diarrhoea. It's a pain when you need to get on. I'd say hope she feels better soon but seems she already does

Fid - time to get a SAM in. That rat is one lairy fucker.

Unborn their school leaves it at the parents' discretion. She only puked up once, but she's nervous about eating hot food. Her logic just now was that toasties are warm, not hot. Apart from that, since yesterday morning she's had coco pops, pizza and a yoghurt and fruit purée ice lolly.

I too hope last night and today are better.

If not, make more demands. That's why we pay our taxes. No better use of them, either.

Have ace ratter jrt .. killed one in my kitchen, several in the garden : there's a stream at the bottom and next door has outstanding airbnb accommodation for rats in its decking, so rats are inevitable.

Afternoon.

Last night was better than the night before. Of course, I didn't go up to bed until nearly 3.00 am but then when I fell asleep I was fine and only woke up once needing the loo.

I am officially excited. I received a phone call half an hour ago and my BED and other equipment will be delivered and set up after 4.00 this afternoon.

That's good news zombie! No more trudging upstairs when you want a lie down, do you have a downstairs bathroom? 🌸🌸

Oh Hurray!! It will be so nice to have that convenience.

Have you thought about ordering a new lovely new duvet or perhaps a comfy soft blanket for your new bed?

Oooh is it one of those beds where you can lie in bed and press a button and it allows you to adjust it? Hope so.
