Zombie, do you think your stomach would let you get away with grazing? You know, like cows on a field, eating little bits of grass all day long rather than having meals?
It does not need to be grass in your case of course Wink

OhTheRoses · 08/01/2017 22:22

Sorry to hear this Zombie. Have you thought about Sainsbury "Little Dishes". They are little portions of simple dishes like fish pie and chicken casserole. Some soups too. Designed for toddlers so quite easily digestible.

bookbook · 08/01/2017 22:23

Z - I had never heard of Cook meals, so just had a browse - could you try the kids menu as being a smaller portion and so more manageable?

bookbook · 08/01/2017 22:26

x posting - I nearly mentioned grazing - but I tend to think of lots of nuts and seeds

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/01/2017 22:46

Maybe one of your new helpers could help you split the food you have in the freezer into manageable sizes.

Grazing sounds good too.

Just forget 3 meals a day.

The Dalai Lama (I think) says never eat more than 4 mouthfuls at a time, but do that at least 6 or 8 times a day.

I hate feeling full, it's feels nice to just eat when you're hungry, but only until you're not, not till you're stuffed.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/01/2017 22:51

When we lived in Merrie Olde England we had Graze boxes delivered every week. I loved them. I love grazing and if I were on my own, my entire menu for every meal would consist of picky bits.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/01/2017 22:53

OTOH we now live in the land of the takeaway and have just ordered gourmet pizzas and caesar salad and chicken wings to be delivered in half an hour.

It's so weird they don't do online grocery shopping here though.

I blame the car culture and the size of the car parks, actually.

OhTheRoses · 08/01/2017 22:58

Hearts and phalanx - good night, sleep tight, you especially Zombie.

Tube strike and Southern shenanigans next week! Early starts!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/01/2017 23:01

Do they deliver to you in the car park then Hearts?

Wouldn't it be easier to wait at home?

Really feel for you with that Roses

Don't you have a temperature coming on?

poisonedbypen · 08/01/2017 23:05

My father used Wiltshire Farm Foods. They deliver for free

poisonedbypen · 08/01/2017 23:06

Why did only half my message post? They do tiny portions, come frozen

poisoned Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/01/2017 23:12

Grin BBB you joke but the closest thing they have to Ocado here really is something called "click and collect" where you online shop, but still have to drive to the grocery store to collect your order. There are special designated parking spaces for Click and Collect customers and I think the shop guys come out and load your groceries into your car for you.

TBH if i am going to go to the trouble of getting dressed, up and out in -15 degree weather, I am going to go round the supermarket myself!!!

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 08/01/2017 23:13

What was that, poisoned? I didn't quite hear you.

Grin
Allalonenow · 08/01/2017 23:13

Is your Android app tired and emotional poisoned? Xmas Grin

UnbornMortificado · 08/01/2017 23:17

Fingers crossed for a decent night for you Zombie.

Hearts I can't get Ocado either and I'm in England (just a common bit) Grin

HerRoyalFattyness · 08/01/2017 23:33

zombie grazing sounds like it could be the way forward for you.

I suppose I could get ocado but I'll stick to sainsbos thanks. (Well iceland this week!) Ocado is for posh peeps and posh I is not. Grin

HerRoyalFattyness · 08/01/2017 23:37

Oh and a bit of good news. Karma is brilliant. .
You know how ex is a dick head and left me skint because he wanted a new xbox? (That's pretty much what he did! Although he did give me some money I just didn't pay my catalogue and have bought the much needed clothes today, catalogue will be payed asap. I'm not late just yet)
Well anyway, his xbox account got hacked GrinGrinGrin he can't access it. Which meant he had to beg me to come round here to get the details off my xbox (because that's the one he set the account up on originally) so Microsoft can fix it. He did a Web chat thingy with them. They confirmed his account has been compromised and it needs escalating. GrinGrin So he spent all his money on a new xbox and can't use it GrinGrin

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/01/2017 23:45

Best Karma for that twat would be for his knob to drop off Fatty.

A human being behaving like that shouldn't be able to become a parent.
