Flowers dahliaaa

For whoever asked, I think Frank left under a bit of a cloud, real shame, she was fab.

HistoriaTrixie · 05/01/2017 23:46

Hi Hearts!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 05/01/2017 23:48

Sorry, Roses think it was you who asked about Frank.
She organised a lot of those meet-ups where we all met.

PotOfYoghurt · 05/01/2017 23:50

Night night Z, glad you had a good day.

MsHooliesCardigan · 06/01/2017 02:26

Zombie I always wake up around this time and the first thing I do is check on how you're doing. Glad you had a good day and may there be more to come. DD has made you something and it will be on its way to you shortly. The only thing I have managed to knit in my life is a scarf for DS1's teddy bear and it was shit but I am going to cast aside my fears and knit something for your blanket. I think that we should make a habit of automatically directing all the 'You're all a load of bitches' posts/threads to this thread. Hope Zombie and the rest of the Phalanx are sleeping soundly.

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/01/2017 04:27

He only really shares with the psychiatrist on his CF team and my DM. He's more worried than he lets on Unborn. We've all lived with the CF since he was diagnosed at 5, the diabetes since he was 14, so I'm kind of numb. Just occasionally I'll nearly cry, like after reading Z's post, or thinking about him losing his hair, when it was so much of who he is. The transgender thing just makes me wonder how I'm going to deal with it with the younger DC and DH. At the moment, only everyone on this thread and everyone on the 25th thread know. His dress sense is: if I don't like it, he will! He's very sparkly.

SloanyAnne · 06/01/2017 06:51

Hope you have a good day Zombie.

Bassetfeet · 06/01/2017 07:53

So hope you slept well after a day of such exertion physical and emotional stuff to do . Hey you really are an inspirational brave lady

Just want to ask if you are a book or poem lover? Books even much loved ones are too much concentration I know . So poems . Not maudling or upsetting . Just understanding and maybe funny .
Comforting .

Fiderer · 06/01/2017 08:58

Lovely sunshine here, sending some your way, Z.

Mummylin · 06/01/2017 09:02

Hope the person coming to see you today is satisfactory Zombie. It will be a big help for you. Hope you have had a good nights sleep and yesterday hasn't worn you out too much. 💐

WhoremoaneeGrainger · 06/01/2017 09:26

Another one de-lurking. I don't post much, but i hook and knit for WH when my stupid hands will allow me to. Fantastic idea Zombie, and i will force my hands to work for you.

UnbornMortificado · 06/01/2017 09:31

Baths it's lovely even with all that you have going on your still able to offer support to other posters.

Zombie hope today is another good one especially pain wise and good luck meeting your cleaner today.

bookbook · 06/01/2017 09:37

Hope yesterday didn't totally wipe you out Z
I have started the day on a high - I was minding my own business , drinking a cup of tea at breakfast. Dustbin men came - panic as had forgotten- its all wrong this week. Had to run out in my incredibly flattering (Hmm) dressing gown and drag bin to front. I think I managed to do it like a ninja ..

MrsMozart · 06/01/2017 09:43

Baths Flowers

Gawdsakes that onion juice is strong in here this morning.

Morning. Hope a good sleep was had by all. I'm in my regular miserable mode as tomorrow the younger Ds go back to uni many hours away. I shall attempt to be busy and do stuff. I feel I may Need A List!

magimedi · 06/01/2017 09:48

So pleased you had a good day when you needed it, Zombie.

Will be donating to Candy hugs as soon as
I am home (next week) as can't knit or crochet.

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/01/2017 09:53

Thanks Unborn, Roses, MrsM

I've had a long time to come to terms with the CF Unborn, the rest is relatively easy, but it's weird how I'm more bothered about his hair falling out than the cancer or the risks of chemotherapy with CF. Confused

He's in hospital wearing a teal octopus hat! Grin

bookbook · 06/01/2017 10:19

Stress about your children comes in odd ways , I agree. Its possible to cope , and then you get clouted around the head with something you didn't see coming Bathsheba Flowers. Am I the only one who sometimes thinks - Iet me be the one to have the problem , rather than them?

BathshebaDarkstone · 06/01/2017 10:26

Definitely not book, my other thought is "how much more shit can one person deal with?" I feel so sorry for him. Sad

Fiderer · 06/01/2017 10:31

No, book , I do too. Esp when it's something in their heads that you know hurts more than they'll ever admit.

Bath Perhaps because it's tangible, visible. And a pride thing, a mark of identity for him.
