The DC are up now, we're going to McDonald's for breakfast.

I bloody luuuuurrrve a MaccyD's breakfast. Did you know they do them all day in the States now? Hasn't hit Canada yet, more;s the pity.

I am about to try going to bed for the second time. Went up early (like 9.30) had a lovely tme playying on my phone for a bit then woke up about half an hour ago absolutely starving. So I've had some Sshreddiies and now back up the wooden hill in a mo. Srry for all the typos, am typing in the dark by the lght of the telly that DH (still awakeO ) is watching.

This beetroot that some of you are massacring with vodka, is it the tasteless earthy hobbit one or the (most delish) pickled variety?

Used to love Borscht. Would be the perfect breakfast for today, it's snowy. Not shiny white sunny Dr Zhivago winter, more grey, wet, sad flurries.

And the bloody Gannets have finished the milk again (despite years of obviously hopeless indoctrination) so no tea or hot chocolate this morning.

That's a hanging offence here! I can't function without a pint sized mug of strong coffee of a morning.

Appreciate the offer Sloany but have gone off coffee. Which is bloody annoying as I only ever drank it black so lack of milk was never an issue.

Think it was drinking too much at work and then getting jittery. Am surviving right now on fruit tea

pah to no milk ! I have to have aleast 2 mugs of tea in a morning and I am no fan of fruit tea . No powdered milk tucked away? Am up at this (for me) rather early hour as today is DGS looking after day. He's due any minute, and then I won't have a spare breath.Glad I didn't indulge in all the beetroot flavoured alcohol.
I have to just pick you up a bit on beetroot there Fiderer - it is delicious , but only the Italian Chioggia beetroot not the earthy dark red ones , agree on those :)

What does beetroot taste like if it doesn't taste earthy?
