ZombieLad gets married today. Hats on and champagne at the ready!

A week today he and ZombieLass arrive to spend Christmas with me. It will be the Best. Christmas. Ever.

There have been no miracles so my remaining days keep ticking away. Life is for living. Death is not to be feared. Wakes are for celebrating.

allalone I've always been fatty! Fatty was my actual nickname when i was younger (and a size 6!) So I don't mind being called it.
I'm not putting myself down, I know I'm obese and I know that needs to change. That will change this year. I will lose weight. I don't have fuckwits kicking off at me for not eating the food I didn't want now! I will learn to be happy alone again. I've done it before (when ds1 was a baby, only got back with ex because I got pregnant after a ONS with him )
and 2017 has to be better than 2016 so there's that

I'm with you on that. I'm gonna go back to Weight Watchers the second we are back in our house.
I can not do it here, can not get organised nor meal plan etc.
Just way too stressful and I comfort eat. Which is not good but right now is what I need so I can keep sane.
(Does anyone fancy giving me a medal for having lived at PILs for just over 6 months now - and so far nobody has sustained any serious crossbow related injuries? 😉)

DH is entering a bodybuilding contest in July. It's all clean living from now on in. Except gin. I refuse to give up gin. Actually, I'll be mostly eating healthily (easier for cooking) but there will be cake 😄

I've spent this afternoon trying to teach DS 3.5 to play Mario Kart on the Wii; it didn't go well as he's a stubborn little monkey absolutely does not get that from me!
Now going to drink copious amounts of vodka to get over it

Yes and I admire him so much for just being him lin, and for still laughing when life chucks yet another illness at him.

He just emailed me and asked me if I guessed, I didn't, I know a couple of men who dress like him but still identify as men, they just refuse to follow the rules.

It may be very difficult both for him and for you too. But I'm sure together you can face it. How confused he must be. How old is he bath ?

I think if you can support your ds bath it will be a happier time for him. I hope it will all be ok.

He's 26 lin, I think what he identifies as is the least of his worries at the moment, he's got cystic fibrosis, diabetes and is currently in hospital getting chemotherapy for small spots of cancer throughout his body, he can't have surgery because of the CF. He says it means he doesn't have to worry about all that and can just have fun buying more clothes!

I think if he was healthy, what gender he is would be a bigger deal, IYSWIM?

Yes I understand, just another problem for him amongst all the other things. What a lot on his shoulders, but I guess it must be one thing at a time. Too much to sort all at once. Healthy body and mind for now. Let's hope his treatment does what it's supposed to. I wish you and your ds a happy year and that he will find happiness and peace in his life, and you too.
