ZombieLad gets married today. Hats on and champagne at the ready!

A week today he and ZombieLass arrive to spend Christmas with me. It will be the Best. Christmas. Ever.

There have been no miracles so my remaining days keep ticking away. Life is for living. Death is not to be feared. Wakes are for celebrating.

And I think I remember it's burned into my brain it was red too!

Zombie, I had to go to hospital for iv antibiotics a couple of months ago. I was first on a ward with dementia patients and the beds were much more comfortable than on the ward I moved to. I think they had an inflatable mattress topper. I wondered if you could get a bed with the mattress topper?

Well, that puts my day's accomplishments to shame!

Good idea to spend the Nectar points. I never know what to spend mine on, especially now you can't buy the Speedy Hen books. I'm using mine up on Sainsburys on line shopping, which they've recently started.

One of the best presents my dad left me was some lovely Christmas memories. I know you'll make some of your own.

That nap must have been better than I realised as I haven't been able to get back to sleep. I'm back downstairs and have just taken another 10 ml of Oramorph.

ZombieKids have made landfall over the south coast of Ireland and are now due to land at 05.40. I may as well stay up now as they may ring / text from the airport. I'll text ZLad shortly to welcome them to England and tell him where to find the spare door key just in case I flake out before they get to ChezZombie.

At least I can get a few more things done before they're here...
