I remember too. Was it a ravine or a lagoon? DH said he is getting me a miniature still for Christmas. I'll bring it along to make phalanx rations from all the botanicals that will be growing there.

marriednotdead · 08/10/2016 14:24

It's bugging me now! A canyon?

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 08/10/2016 15:31

Grin you weren't with us Fid, it was a ravine and I probably am loopy!

A still sounds excellent Ikl, a fabulous foundation to build on.

Am very impressed with your devotion to serious gin production. I'll plant lots of herbs and aromatics for you to experiment with.

I'll just nip round all the caves with some logs and fleecy throws.

iklboo · 08/10/2016 15:50

Sort of like this. Runs off spirit too so no leccy required.

I think you're all loopy.

Am leaving in one 1 hour to fly home but am still struggling with a translation that has to be done. My packing is a bit hmm but have contact lenses and passport and wallet.

Just needed a wee break as head about to explode.

Must locate children.

HerRoyalFattyness · 08/10/2016 17:26

Oh yes I remember the caves in the ravine, that was before we were a Phalanx, I think we were more a coven back then! Grin

Mummylin · 08/10/2016 22:00

Hope you are doing your writing ikl !!
Zombie, I hope today has been a better day for you and you get to at least have one good day over the weekend.

iklboo · 09/10/2016 21:15

Hope you're feeling OK today Zombie?

Lin - here's this week's round up. Hope you like it!

Strictly week three - who's saying goodbye-ee?

IamtheZombie · 09/10/2016 22:50

Evening dear Phalanx. Yesterday was still bad but I did have the final dose of Trimethoprim in the morning. I also had a really bad night's sleep. I got about 2 hours between 6.00 and 8.00 this morning. Naturally that meant I needed an afternoon nap (which lasted about 3.5 hours). I don't half have weird dreams during an afternoon nap...

Having said that, I have generally felt a bit better today.

Tomorrow will be the first test. I have to go to the hospital for the first of my weekly blood checks. I'm pretty sure my platelets have plummeted as I've had quite a bit of very bloody snot. No full blown nose bleeds thank goodness. I also have a medium long shopping list. That's all I plan to attempt. Then I come home and rest.

We'll see how it goes.

Put some nice spoily treats on your shopping list Z

Including lux bubbles for your bath and your favourite cheese.

Think of us on your shoulder, being rude and stroppy, on your way round the supermarket.

Good luck with bloods today zombie 🌺🌺🌺

Mummylin · 10/10/2016 10:19

Hope your blood is behaving Zombie and there won't be any more delays in your treatment. Hope your general well being is better today.

Thanks Ikl, that is a great summary ! I didn't see any of Sunday's prog as we were out so I didn't know who had been booted off until I read your blog.

IamtheZombie · 10/10/2016 21:51

Evening all.

Silly me stayed up to watch the Presidential debate. Or, maybe, not so silly. When I finally went to bed I went straight to sleep and managed about 6 hours.

Bloods drawn, most of the shopping done (cats needs weren't urgent so I skipped Pets at Home) and home at 7.00 pm. I'm still achy but not as bad as yesterday. Right now I'm mostly just very tired. I'm aiming for an 11.00 pm bedtime and hope to sleep through the night.

We'll see what tomorrow brings but I'm ever so slightly cautiously optimistic.

Mummylin · 11/10/2016 00:20

When will you get your blood results ? Fingers crossed it will all be fine.

HerSpookyFattyness · 11/10/2016 15:08

How is everything today zombie?

IamtheZombie · 11/10/2016 21:50

Today I have felt at least half human for the first time in probably 3 or 4 months. I hadn't actually realised how poorly I felt. I'm beginning to suspect that I've had an underlying infection of some sort for a very long time despite the absence of much in the way of overt symptoms.

Last night I got a fairly solid 9 hours of sleep with only one "just awake enough to shuffle to the loo and back" interruption.

I am NOT celebrating yet. Today could well be a fluke. I have taken it very easy today hoping that may help to consolidate any improvement.

Champagne is not on ice yet. If this continues until this time next week, I will celebrate then.

OP posts:
HerSpookyFattyness · 11/10/2016 21:53

It is a little victory for you Grin

magimedi · 11/10/2016 22:12

If not champagne, then a LARGE gin ration for the Phalanx.

Small celebration before the Bomb + Bolly!

So hope this is not a fluke.

Sending you all best wishes for this to continue, Zombie

StealthPolarBear · 11/10/2016 22:15

Holding enough hope but not too much as to jinx it that you continue to feel this way or better :)

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 11/10/2016 22:34

I'll just plump the cushions in your cave Z, sounds like you might be ready to venture there now and then.

There's lots of firewood, cheese and whisky and you are at the head of the ravine so if you need anything you'll only have to whisper and someone will hear you.

I may have scratched it's not a fluke in the dust on your promontory

Susiesoap7 · 12/10/2016 09:59

Keeping all bits crossed for a good blip zombie 🌺🌸🌺🌸

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 12/10/2016 22:50

Open end of ravine faces S/SW and Zombie cave is the highest so she gets the best sunset view.

We all need to keep the promontory fires smouldering to keep the morning fog high.

Herbs are planted. Someone suggested chickens, do we want to take on livestock?

iklboo · 13/10/2016 08:32

Hoping everything is good with you Zombie and those pesky side effect are easing off.

Can I please have a ground level cave? I'm down with an attack of the non gin related dizzly wizzlies again. Climbing may be an issue......
