Saw lots of Dhs family we haven't seen for ages yesterday so that was nice.

Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrning. Just about.
Early night went spectacularly wrong (though thanks for Athos the blanket LetUs ) when I went into the kitchen and discovered that it was a disaster zone of cooking stuff and un-cleared-away tea. FFS. Then DH woke me to let me know that he couldn't sleep, but Murray had won. Yay-ish. Then DS arrived in bed at 2am to say that he couldn't sleep and proceeded to pin my arm down for the next 4 hours whilst punching me occasionally as he thrashed about. Strangely, once DS was ready for SummerHolidaySportingActivity, I went back to bed with Athos and let DH take DS in on the way to work. Still feeling not entirely awake mind, and that's after getting the washing on the line, having a shower and drinking lots of water.

So now I have to perve work. Will reward myself with HBFs on TV once I've sent out all the letters that need to go out today. Not entirley convinced I'll get to the HBFs at this rate

I feel guilty I've bailed on a church thing on weds....but that's the last nice day we are supposed to have this week so Dh and I are taking the boys out.

1.30 Athletics - heats etc
2pm track cycling - women's sprint & men's & women's omnium races
2pm individual dressage
6pm gymnastics apparatus finals
10pm GB women's hockey
middle of the night : more athletics

I really am getting fuck all else done

And Sophie Hitchon is currently third in the women's hammer. Makes me happy every time I see women in the hammer, pole vault & triple jump as they are such recent events - IAAF didn't recognise women's records until the 1990s for any of these events.
