Afternoon wenches, checking in a bit late today after a rather late night. Not helped by ScaredyCat fannying around at 4am rather than coming to bed. Why do shoelaces need playing with at that time of night?

Mo's run was stunning last night - well worth staying up for, long jump was very tense & a great competition & Jess performed well too. Congrats to all. Watched it on the BBC red button for uninterrupted coverage & the commentators were shit , wonder if they have access to the same pics as us.

Good luck with the pizzas madame - no advice from me, my homemade ones are not very elegant

Track cycling starts at 8pm - men's sprint final & men's omnium starts as does women's sprint competition
Women's diving 8pm
Athletics starts at half past midnight, inc men's 100m final

There's also sailing, golf & synchronised swimming, but I think I'll probably give those a miss.

God Im exhausted! Fantastic evening though. Pizza was not bad but very labour intensive and we ended up cooking them in the oven cos couldn't get pizza oven hot enough.

Lovely time had by all and the cat was safely upstairs in his room so not traumatised.

Sadly too knackered to stay up for Usain.
