No, I have one.

Since it was the top girls name of 2006 I don't also want to pick the most popular diminutive. At the moment I don't shorten it.

Liv or livvy.

lolliepops · 16/01/2007 15:30

i call her all sorts of things including lollie pops!

i was gutted when i saw the top 10 names thing as well

Roo77 · 16/01/2007 15:35

most popular girls name

I always loved this name but it is just too popular now.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/01/2007 15:36

The one i know is shortened to Livvy.

PeckaRolloverAgain · 16/01/2007 15:38

I just came on here to say that i know an olivia that I call Ol, Ollie, lolliepops, lolly, Liv etc" but then realised her mum is below me here saying the same!

Regardless of it in the top ten it is a very lush girls name.

aDad · 16/01/2007 15:39

quite a few near me aged 3 or 4. All livvy.

Aderyn · 16/01/2007 15:40

In all fairness, I don't suppose there is much in it for the top 20 girls names. And some of the results are skewed by different spellings, such as Isobel, Isabel, Isabelle and Isobelle which all appear in the top 100, separately, in yet will sound the same when spoken. And Gracie appears as well as Grace. We nearly called DD1 Grace!

Still, back to Olivia.... keep the nicknames coming.

Livia
or Liv to her very special friends

goingfor3 · 16/01/2007 15:41

Ollie and Ollie-pops. Wally-puss too!

Aderyn · 16/01/2007 15:41

So, perhaps I should avoid Livvy.

Twiglett · 16/01/2007 15:41

one of the few names I wouldn't shorten

but probably livvy, liv, libby or ollie

Aderyn · 16/01/2007 15:42

Ah yes, I do tend to drop the O and call her Livia. Maybe we should just go with that.

goingfor3 · 16/01/2007 15:42

I really like Liv and Livvy but it didn't come natrually like the others did.

Aderyn · 16/01/2007 15:43

Olive sounds pretty but I cannot ever get the 'On the Buses' character out of my head.

My friends sister has an Olivia, which is shortened to Livvy.
