Olympics start Friday 5th August. An uninterrupted run would finish Saturday 30th July, but I would be surprised if we got an uninterrupted run - we still don't know who will be showing which matches in the knockout stages.

Rio is 4 hours behind & I can't find the times of day that the main sports are being held (well I possibly could if I accessed all sports individually!) - usually morning & evening (which would be afternoon & late night here), so potentially may not interfere with a 9.30ish slot on BBC1 . But of course there will be highlights programmes too & I don't know when they are.
