It is 'offline' Well it wasn't the last time I used it And I can't seem to get it connected And while I'm ranting, if schools want to cut down on their printing costs, they should send out forms that can be filled out online Fuckers.

Ergh, TMs ed psych assessment tomorrow and we have to offer our opinions on which school we would like him to go to. I actually have no idea. His current school have been amazing and have really made him come on in leaps but they are struggling to get funding for kids with less profound needs. He has grown in confidence so much and I think he needs to be in an environment where hes happy and go into next year with his friends. And his amazing SALT is there too. The other school I think we'll be suggested is a wonderful looking speech and language specialist. It looks amazing and they have a great track record with speech and language but I worry the transition will be too much. Mr M is pretty firm on him staying where he is but I'm not sure.

Surely if he stays it won't mean the other school is off limits forever?
Could you keep him where he is and keep the other school in mind if needed?
Kids tend to struggle with transition whatever age and even without additional needs tbh.

Mouse such a hard decision. I do not envy you - I guess take guidance from teachers etc - and then go with your gut conviction .....

Mouse DS is no-where near needing to change schools yet, but the idea of having to try and choose which one will be best for him is never mind throwing in the speech and language factors that you need to think about.

In other news, I feel slifhtly more productive since I have just mended two pairs of trousers for DS rather than farming them out to my mother to mend for me

Fuckinghell, that was a long day at work. Subjectspecialist working with the whole company this morning, very involved meeting at lunchtime, big project work all afternoon. This will probably make more sense if you know what my job is .

DD is obviously some kind of tech-witch helen - when she turned the printer on, it worked. Nothing else was needed. I'd burn her at the stake, but then I'd never be able to print anything again

Thanks guys . The preschool say they have lots of kids with similar needs to TM who are his buddies. i.e. not as profound, mainly speech or social. And his key worker is quietly on our side about keeping the little group together. But the school just doesn't receive the funding to deal with children with lesser needs. So its at the discretion of the principal and the governors. And the ed psych for the educational authority.

And TM is resolutely refusing to sleep tonight. Which is a pita cos we need him to be at his best tomorrow.
