Dr Lemay will suggest a remedy for our angst. More boffing discussions? More re-watches?
We need something to soothe, as we wait for news of Series 3. Is the tonic more wine, cocktails and debauchery?
We're currently surviving on in The Night garden Manager, Jane Eyre and promises of Santi in Soccer Aid.

On we go wenches.......

Rowers mmmm

ApricotCrush · 27/03/2016 12:59

Hello wenches, hope you're all having a happy Easter. Easter Smile

We had the torrential rain yesterday, the sun's out today. Weird weather. Easter Hmm

I hate this clock altering stuff, it take me a week to get used to it. I feel I'm behind with everything all the time.

Go for it with the ear piercing Madame. I'm not as bad as you, but I've had headaches on and off every day for the last month and it's miserable. I think it's a seasonal/weather thing with me.

Have a fab time Comtess .

LetUsPrey · 27/03/2016 13:31

Am watching Father Brown on BBC1. It's the final episode. I didn't realise Hugo was in it! He's ever so gruff and wears a trilby nicely. Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/03/2016 14:04

Good point letus hadnt thought about it like that Grin

apes are you thinking of getting one too? Wink

LetUsPrey · 27/03/2016 14:15

Grin Madame - they obviously train exceptionally hard and put a ton of work into their sport. And for that we should be admiring and grateful.

Weather update: the torrential rain which was here yesterday is back and has brought thunder and lightning with it.

ApricotCrush · 27/03/2016 14:25

Just had a hailstorm here! Easter Hmm

I don't think so Madame. When I had my ears pierced many years ago I was left with keloids, an overgrowth of scar tissue, on the back of my earlobes. They're only small, but any more piercings or surgery could cause them again so I wouldn't dare risk it. That also rules out a face-lift. Easter Wink

TeamTom, the second episode of The Magus is at 3pm.

FancyFancy · 27/03/2016 14:42

Afternoon

Agree with letus's analysis of the boat race, perving potential, but otherwise dull.

I missed your first post of the day comtess - my commiserations on the nipples Wink. Mine were fine, except for the first winter of breastfeeding DD . Well I assume they are. They've not been er, tested lately

As for your TM question, my money is on Grimaud (Matthew McNulty) for fanciability. And Feron (Rupert Everett) for the eww factor. Although I have a hunch Wink that he will be very entertaining. Unlike FuckOffRochefort.

apes Easter Sad about the piercings and the face lift

MLGs · 27/03/2016 15:18

Hello and Happy Easter to wenches everywhere!

I am the most amazing musketeer dream last night. Was sort of s 3 happening, and we could download it, but I was also sort of in the episodes. NB THESE ARE NOT SPOILERS AT ALL AND NOTHING TO DO WITH READ EP1!

It was a much longer dream about musketeers than I have had before. Musketeers were on the run from the law .Some of the time I was queenie, and got to snog and have sexy time with Aramis by meeting him in disguise while he was on the run. Some of the time I was me, still having snoggy/sexy time with Aramis, but also flirting with others especially Athos.

There were also some Aramis/dauphin bits in the dream but have slightly forgotten those.

Getting caught and or pursued by the authorities while on the run. Was great fun.

MLGs · 27/03/2016 15:20

REAL NOT READ.

MLGs · 27/03/2016 15:25

FWIW I don't like the boat race at all. Not interesting. Perving, yes, but IME rowers boring types in RL (Oxford/Cambridge blue ones anyway).

LetUsPrey · 27/03/2016 15:25

Excellent excellent dream MoreLike! Am very EnvyEaster Envy

As much as I'm all for growing old (dis)gracefully, I wouldn't say no to a facelift.

DartsTart · 27/03/2016 16:05

Personally I love the boat race - have had many a drunken day by the river Thames - cheering on the boys in skin tight Lycra - showing off their pecs and thighs ....(drifts off happily)

So another haunch of venison roasted / a lot of red wine drunk - all very contented in front of the log fire ....

However If there was space in a suitcase to Greece - I would jump into it .....

Agree on the FAF or non FAF - Rupert (who used to be as hot as hell... )Will be a gross bag I feel.... The other chap could chuck me up against the wall (if DOG was not available)

Now thinking about eating down cheese and having an egg or two ....

DartsTart · 27/03/2016 16:31

And the right team won - huzzah

Obs2016 · 27/03/2016 16:38

Cool dream Morelike.

We came back early because of not wanting to meet storm Katie.
I had the best time. Tucked up cozy warm and read khaled hosseini - kite runner. Fabulous. I enjoyed it even more than a thousand suns.

Looking forward to night manager tonight.

NEW THREAD NEW THREAD NEW THREAD

MLGs · 27/03/2016 17:34

The thing with going to watch the boat race in person though is that you can't see anything and all the pubs are too full. Sounds old and curmudgeonly but I thought that as a student! Usually I love watching any sport live for excuse for drunken day out with friends.....

My mum loves it and always tells me when Oxford win and then is annoyed that I don't care!

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 27/03/2016 17:56

Evening. Watching Escape to the continent and it's about Stockholm Easter Confused
It's kind of funny and interesting to watch, the couple want to change the kitchen in all the houses they've seen Easter Hmm
And they most be loaded considering the areas they're looking in.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 27/03/2016 17:57

WENCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am home - back from the Land of No Internet.

Actually that's a lie - I had internet for long enough to load my various internet tabs, send one email and then it went down. And I sulked massively. BT Piggybacking internet connections are rubbish.

Have RBNR, apart from I hope Cinn put money on a sinking; Mouse is an excellent Mum, and um.... yep. That's it. Will try to make more intelligent noises later. Good to see Ariadne is back, and hope Obs' glamping trip involves solid accommodation, given the weather and whats' forecast for tomorrow.

Hope all wenches are enjoying their long weekends.

MLGs · 27/03/2016 18:04

The green team is not the right team Grin

(Appears to care slightly).

Badders123 · 27/03/2016 18:19

A load of toffs getting damp? Hmm
Nope
Not for me
I don't find hot toffs do much for me tbh working class through andthrough Smile
Maybe that's why hidders doesnt do much for me?.....
I'm watching treasure island Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/03/2016 19:05

morelike yes that exactly re boat race. Feckin boaties zzzzzzzzz. Hehehe so greens won did they?

bads I didnt realise how posh hidders is till recently. However this hasnt put me off him at all. Grin

Welcome back helen and obs! Proper weird weather this weekend. Typically easter though I suppose. Equinoxy. Hmmmm.

We just took ds to cinema to see Zootropolis. It was a really sweet film about animals, containing a flabbergastingly strong and unexpected (for an animated hollywood kids film) message of peace, human unity, and dont be a dick to all muslims just because of Isis. (The terrorists, not the rowers.) Recommend. Grin

Right really need to get dinner going or no hope of being ready to watch ITNM at 9. IT'S SO LATE YET IT FEELS SO EARLY!!

MadamedeChevreuse · 27/03/2016 19:16

Oh and ZOMG AMAZING DREAM Morelike!!!!! you lucky, lucky cow Grin

LetUsPrey · 27/03/2016 20:32

Welcome back Obs and Helen

Love your review of Zootropolis Madame Grin

MIL has been for dinner and I am stuffed full of delicious food.

I love watching those kinds of programme Wicked!

I loved Rupert Everett in Princess Daisy (so to speak)

Looking forward to ITNM. I've got a bigger cushion ready for this final episode.

Badders123 · 27/03/2016 20:44
