Dr Lemay will suggest a remedy for our angst. More boffing discussions? More re-watches?
We need something to soothe, as we wait for news of Series 3. Is the tonic more wine, cocktails and debauchery?
We're currently surviving on in The Night garden Manager, Jane Eyre and promises of Santi in Soccer Aid.

On we go wenches.......

Oooh. Now that IS a good pic. He's really coming on rather nicely.

Fancy I ain't seen you, right? Grin

FancyFancy · 25/03/2016 22:41

Please tell me this is one of your last minute packing jobs & you're leaving soon? If you've suddenly got all organised & won't be leaving for days then I reckon this lot won't keep me going long And it'd take me the whole holiday to uncurl myself, which may scupper the chances of getting laid

Comtess · 25/03/2016 22:49

Oh it's always last minute Fancy. Leaving Sunday so uncurl for now. I'll save you a space.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 26/03/2016 09:11

Thanks wenches Easter Smile

The blue cardi Comtess? I'm honoured!

MadamedeChevreuse · 26/03/2016 09:18

Morning!

Im thinking of getting a Daith piercing for my migraines.

m.huffpost.com/uk/entry/8531022

Prob is a load of bollocks and wont help, but Im at the point where I will give pretty much anything a go, so...

We are off to a farm park type thing today. Good luck with packing comtesse, hope TM is a bit better today mouse. Have good days all!

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 11:07

Worth a go madame, acupuncture does seem to work for some pain. Enjoy the farm park thingy, cuddle an animal for me. Cuddle all of them actually, especially if there are any of those mini piglets. Or rats, I love fancy rats.

Seems Luca likes cuddling piglets too....

Afternoon wenches.

Go for it Madame. I'm a bit like that with hayfever remedies and that's about a million times less debilitating for me than migraines for you.

Has everywench who's going away left or is there still a case I can stowaway in?

I've helped DS1 tidy and dust his room this morning. Tons of washing. Now I'm busy crying on and off at Say Yes To The Dress. Mind you, yesterday I went shopping to try to find a new perfume to replace my discontinued one. Seen some online, went and tried them and didn't like any. I was nearly in tears on the way back to the car. Over perfume FFS.

Hope the weather is being kind to any out and about wenches.

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 26/03/2016 14:07

Afternoon wenches. Thanks loads for your kind words last night. I was all but ready to stow away with a travelling wench. TM is much better today. There was a 4am wake up call but they went back to bed and slept till 10. They are both best buddies again and raising hell together. Stealing food from the Asda shop Ive yet to put away and having a picnic in their tent.

Madame sadly no clubs except for the one run by the Baptist church. And I'm not keen on him being told about Jesus at all. With him being non verbal, I don't know how much he'll be taking in and I don't want him worried about there being a bloke upstairs and not be able to verbalise how he feels. Also rabid atheist and I haven't heard fantastic things about the Baptist Bunch.
I did want to raise him bilingual too but I couldn't bring myself to confuse him further.

And id go for the piercing too!

aaaaaaaaaw. And also the bloke holding him

LetUsPrey · 26/03/2016 14:20

Pleased all seems okay today Mouse. The Mice sound like they've got a very sensible mum.

Just had a letter confirming DS1 has got all the options he chose for Y10 so yeah! Can't believe he's only got two years left when this one is done!

LetUsPrey · 26/03/2016 14:21

And I'm forgetting my manners. How remiss of me

Afternoon wenches

Ah it's always nice to get confirmation of things like that letus

Glad to hear today has been better mouse. Baptists can be a mixed bunch - my mum was one so I had years of church/Sunday School attendance. Luckily her church wasn't very hard line, and the vicar was a bit of a hoot. Others are rather more hellfire & brimstone. The one bit about them I did like was that the requirement for adult, and not child, baptism meant that it felt like an 'opt in' rather than an 'opt out' religion iyswim? I was not dunked as an adult, just in case anyone was wondering Wink. Another rabid atheist here.

Holidays going ok so far, DS in particular has been on excellent form. He probably wants something, but I am enjoying the good humour & reasonableness in the meantime Grin

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 14:55

Oh and you can all stop eyeing up comtess's luggage. That's my corner of suitcase, find your own.

DartsTart · 26/03/2016 15:03

Afternoon the wenches -
I had a child free morning - woke up late - and then cleaned out an outbuilding or two ..... Now have 4 kids running amok in the house - so have retired to my bedroom on the premise of making the bed so I can catch up on here

Hope the holidays are fun at home and abroad - any suitcase spence left for me to jump in?

One final post on cockgate FLUFFS and then I am done on the matter ...... I am not complaining - he had been swimming in a very cold tunnel of water ...... I am happy with the definition that I can see

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 15:10

Hmm either my typing is especially shit today or MN is now hiding random words.

I was not dunked as an adult

That is my corner of suitcase.

As you were

How long have you spent searching for that pic tart?

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 26/03/2016 15:36

Grin I haven't been called sensible since I was about 14.

Fancy I've nothing against the religious in general and your Baptists sound all right. I was sent to the Indian Sikh equivalent of Sunday school and learnt Punjabi and all sorts of other stuff. It was quite a laugh. But my local common or garden Baptists have form for rounding up the village kids and taking them off for Bible camp with little to no permission from their parents. Apparently they did this to Mr M and his mum went apeshit.

lovely pics, letus and tart. Enjoy your short child free time tart.

DartsTart · 26/03/2016 15:45

fancy it's my screensaver ........

DartsTart · 26/03/2016 15:48

When it comes to religion - in my opinion - you either believe or don't believe ...... People should not be allowed to ram it down anyone's throat - don't use it to hurt people or as an excuse to get one over another person ..... Religion should be there as a big comfort blanket to wrap you up and make you feel safe ..... Not scared ........
And there endeth my sermon on religion .....

Back to cocks..........

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 15:51

Probably best avoided then mouse if they're like that

Agree tart, I'm not very tolerant of the door-to-door types, luckily we don't get any where I live now.

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 15:55

You're welcome Athos wenches, you're welcome....

Swagger Inn Thread 126 :TREPIDATION. The wait for 'The Musketeers' S3 is killing us!
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 26/03/2016 16:03

Already seen that Fancy but thanks anyway Grin

Cinnamoncookie · 26/03/2016 16:13

Afternoon all. It's blowing a gale and I'm off out to the theatre shortly. Have spent half the afternoon doing paperwork for nextproject. All my newcolleagues seem to look the same, so telling them apart should be fun, when there are 25 men (only 2 of whom I have worked with before) and 2 women.

LetUs, have you tried the Guerlain Acqua Allegoria (sp) range? There are about 4 or 5 different ones. Of course, not knowing what perfume you previously wore, I could be way off base.

Badders123 · 26/03/2016 16:37

wenches...
Jane Eyre with Michael fassbender on bbc2 @ 10
💜😘

FancyFancy · 26/03/2016 16:53

I found it on a Tumblr page ww, and when enlarged it was practically full screen, unfortunately it's not doing that here.

Have fun at the theatre cinn. 25 men and only 2 women on your nextproject eh? Lucky you!

LetUsPrey · 26/03/2016 17:13

I shall look those up Cinn, find out where I can smell them. Thanks. Enjoy the theatre!

Previous perfume wasn't anything exotic - just Ginger from Lush but I love it and it's nearly all gone. Woe.

Loving Dart's philosophy Grin

Jane Eyre eh Badderz with Fassbender. I still hark back to the BBC version with Timothy Dalton as Mr Rochester

It's pissing down here and I'm supposed to be nipping out to do a bit of shopping.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 26/03/2016 17:19

I prefer the version with Toby Stephens Easter Smile
