London!?
Well...I suppose I could get the train..l.

FolknNorah · 16/02/2016 18:57

You're an artist elky why not do an arty sort of party? I wouldn't do he cinema at their age personally, but who knows? Grin

Or....embrace the weather. Go out all prepared and splash about. Or stick a David Attenborough DVD on?

Obs2016 · 16/02/2016 18:58

Atleast we've got Possible TB in radio 4 play and Hampstead. Better than nothing.

I still think SC will do SA if at all possible. His love for football..... And if Mourinho .....

FolknNorah · 16/02/2016 18:59

I stayed overnight in London last year. I was neither robbed nor was I murdered in my sleep!
Shock

I do advise you to take a blindfold and earplugs though. And a taser.

Obs2016 · 16/02/2016 19:00

Elk, still think cinema is good idea. Have they got any half term deals on? My local one is fab for deals.

AriadneNoir · 16/02/2016 19:01

Oh for the party elk? Maybe not design/make the party bags then?

Which Zoo? have they got indoor places to shelter if really bad? Hmm

Badders123 · 16/02/2016 19:01

Oh don't worry I'll bring my knuckle dusters and pepper spray :)

FancyFancy · 16/02/2016 19:12

And don't forget a cattle prod for all the dozy fuckers who stop dead at the top of escalators/entrance to tube platforms/in front of the ticket gates Angry

I'm not sure 5 7yearolds would sit still and quiet for very long in e cine,a. I suppose it depends in the children themselves though.

I wouldn't bother unless you know these children are the sort who will do that.

Well, that's a start with your packing naddrsz. Good. Grin now you need to plan your casual yet stylish outfit. Because they will sniff out a normal person out of towner faster than a rat up a drainpipe.

Obs2016 · 16/02/2016 19:38

Ds2(7) loves going to the cinema. I'm surprised you all think a group of 7 year olds wouldn't sit still.

Badders123 · 16/02/2016 19:42

I agree with obs.
My 7 year old loves the cinema of course I also feed him haribo which helps

Obs2016 · 16/02/2016 19:48

Badders, pound shop beforehand: popcorn, drink, sweets.
Kids don't MOVE. Easiest 1.5 hours of my life!!
Grin

Badders123 · 16/02/2016 19:51

Nor....casual yet stylish!?
I can't pull that off, mate :(
I'm doomed!
Dooooooooomed!

FolknNorah · 16/02/2016 19:54

I think we're all throwing out ideas to help, not casting nasturtiums on anyone's ideas. And whilst I think some 7 year olds would/could, I think it's more likely that they wouldn't/couldn't. I reckon 1-2/5 of mine would have been ok the whole way through in a birthday group at 7. Alone with us, maybe 2-3/5 would. It's the excitement innit.
Like I said, elky knows the children and I wish her luck Grin

Comtess · 16/02/2016 20:02

Evenin'

AnneEtAramis · 16/02/2016 20:03

You are unlikely to get robbed in Hampstead tbh, maybe for your skinny caramel macchiato or organic aubergines or your yoga mat #Londoner #Local

Comtess · 16/02/2016 20:04

I did get home. Eventually.

I've now got trouble with the wifi which keeps dropping out. Fucksake. It's a BASIC HUMAN NEED

AnneEtAramis · 16/02/2016 20:05

The five fucking 7/8 year olds I had here on Saturday wouldn't sit through an advert. My own 8 year old will happily watch a film at the cinema. The bloody shits.

AnneEtAramis · 16/02/2016 20:06

Oh and at the 10am kids am things you are allowed to be a pain and it only costs £1.75 to do it. Even in Hampstead. If it had a cinema.

Comtess · 16/02/2016 20:06

I just don't understand The thinking behind people who drizzle all that syrupy shit into their coffee. Must be disgusting surely??

Comtess · 16/02/2016 20:09

I'm on the Hampsted Caramel Macciato stream of consciousness btw. Can't cope with thought of small children to be entertained. teenagers can be a p.i.a but can be trusted to lounge around having massive lie ins and you won't hear a peep as long as you have wifi/Xbox/food

Obs2016 · 16/02/2016 20:10

Love Vue £1.99 cinema tickets. Cheapest, easiest birthday party I ever did.

Badders123 · 16/02/2016 20:11

Oh god
Is it a hummous sort of place?
