nannynickers - what agency is she with? usually castings a really quick, they try on a few outfits and take a few pictures and thats it. in my experience your in and out within 10-20 minutes.

nannynickers i'm of two minds whether to go to casting - ds has shoot at 11.15 so it will depend on how long that takes. i wouldn't even consider it except that i really like john lewis and i'm in there all the time because of the haberdashery!

what time were you told to be there? which agency is she with? i don't know if it's coincidence but every casting that ds has got the job are ones we've been one of the first ones there or had an alloted time. maybe because the people doing the casting are still fresh? anyway it won't take long, some people don't even have them try anything on they just take a few snapshots but either way i'm sure it'll be a good experience!

Your definately right about the haberdashery and the baby stuff I get burts baby bees from there!

Fingers crossed it will be quick and painless and Lydia will be on her best behaviour!

dylan is with b&b as well, we were told to be there from 2pm so if we go it'll probably be as close to 2pm as possible. i'll keep an eye out for a lovely little lydia! best of luck anyway, really hope she gets it!!!

Your right, you must have fabulous taste! We actually named our diddy liddy after the MW because we didn't have any girls names, now I'm so chuffed because it suits her down to the ground and everyone comments on how pretty it is! Yes I am also very biased!

I haven't even signed the contract yet (arrived today) but they have asked her to a casting Monday. Like I said : I'm nervous already!

What about your Lydia?

She was with ES but she only had 2 jobs with them (for Next) and hardly any castings. She is with KL now and has been for 3 weeks but still waiting to hear from them.

Someone showed me this site and i have just(well half way through) making a calender for daddys desk at work. They are really cheap and you can choose which pictures and edit the dates, like put on the 8th feb box, LUCCAS 1ST BIRTHDAY. they are really cool for the £2.99. and seem simple enough to make. Might get a few for family.

Hi all
Well DS had casting for persil today - he had to play a drumkit which he loved!!! and bless him he didn't want to leave it!! They were seeing lots of kids so not over hopeful but find out wednesday!! Did anyone else go??

Well done to all those people who have had jobs and castings, and good luck to anyone who has castings coming up or are awaiting decisions.

DD has a casting for Littlewoods on Monday is anyone else going?

This will be her 3rd casting with them, and hopefully will leed to her 3rd job with them (fingers crossed)

Do you mind if i ask how do you go about this? Obviously your child has to be photogenic or is it just pot luck for what they are looking for?
