Beacon - if i remember right your DS is a similar age to mine...nearly 2?? Well we are with KL and have been very very quiet - think it is an age thing!!!

beacon · 05/12/2006 21:06

Yes that's right. Great memory! I know B&B and KL are as good as each other, but I just thought I'd try KL out seeing as we didn't do very well with B&B.

Also these next couple of years are the perfect time to do it (i.e. before he starts school) because I don't fancy the haggling to get DS excused from class !!

beacon · 05/12/2006 21:09

YYack >> so did KL phone you once they got the paperwork back from you?

QuadropheniaonIce · 05/12/2006 21:12

webmum1, just a word of advice please don't bring up the fact that your child is achieving at school as an excuse for taking her out. It then has the implication that its okay for clever children and not for those who struggle, it will get schools backs up. Its a frequently used arguement on the holiday threads on MN and it causes much outrage .
I really hope you manage to resolve it though x

Hi there. Am very new to this chat stuff so forgive me if I do it wrong! Am I on the right list to ask about this.. My 5 month old has just been accepted by Scallywags - anyone know anything about them or had work through them? Quite excited about it but then I thought well, she might not get any work even though she's been accepted.

ellesmum · 05/12/2006 21:15

beacon - my dd is with kids london and is 2 (will be 3 this month) we have been with them for 4 months and she has done well so far with 7 jobs, they are really similar to b and b and have the same clients i think, but at almost every job we have been to most kids have been with kids london aswell.

when you send the paper work off they dont call you u just wait untill they call for a casting or job.

good luck

mrsratty · 05/12/2006 21:18

YummyMummy21 · 05/12/2006 21:47

Hi everyone,

Well done mrsratty and marymay on the last minute LW jobs.

DD job went really really well. They wanted to do a double shoot with her and another little girl but the other little girl didnt want to play, so they did seperate shoots which they will put together. Was very proud of DD though as she was a true professional. These pics were for the MID SEASON SPRING/SUMMER.

Marymay> I think that I heard Sarah from LW talking about your DS today when we were there. She said that she had a boy in mind for the boys trio shoot but he was unavailable for casting, then she said ill ring anyway and see if he can do tomorrow, the clothes should fit. LoL.

Mrsratty> What time did you get there? We were there very very early this morning shame we didnt get the chance to meet you.

Perfume> RE: U/A pics we recieved ours by post last time

DD has also been used in the SPRING/SUMMER cat even though its not out till Jan, the team today said that they saw her in there.

Take Care All

xxxx

marymay · 05/12/2006 22:13

YummyMummy21 · 05/12/2006 22:23

LoL Marymay, I hope that he doesnt have to work with him tomorrow. When I over heard the conversation I wondered if they were talking about your DS. Anyway I hope that the shoot goes well for you, fingers crossed your DS doesnt have to work with the same boy

mrsratty · 05/12/2006 22:55

marymay - some kids were casting for tommorows when we were there, they were wearing dressing up clothes (older kids) or PJ's (toddlers).
