The thread has definitely gone and it wasn't a namechanger. Not sure I should say more.

It wasn't really like that, it wasn't a troll or a thread started deliberately to be malicious. It was something well-intended that went horribly wrong. It is really, really, best forgotten. IMO.

Why not? People shouldn't make personal attacks, and those that do are not worth defending. Poor essbee has had it really tough and Mumsnet is her lifeline, her support, now some arse has taken that away from her. It's them that should be taking a rest from Mumsnet, not essbee!

I contributed to that thread also and have just been looking for it (unsuccessfully).

I can't imagine what anyone would say or want to say to upset essbee?????!!!!!!

Rhubarb - you've surprised me. I'm sure it was you the other day that was upset with someone for going on about an argument on the WelshBoris thread. Apologies in advance if I have that wrong.

Aimed at no-one in perticular - If Esbee wants to take a break good on her.

I've emailed essbee myself and asked her. If that person is reading this now, I hope that you are feeling better now that you've taken someone's support away from them. I hope she tells me who you are!
