Hi all. Just to let you know, Essbee is taking a bit of a break from MN, so you won't be seeing her for a bit.

I saw her this morning and will see her again soon, and will, of course, pass on any positive messages you'd like her to hear.

LIZS · 23/11/2006 14:25

nearest I can find is the meet up one ?!

katierocket · 23/11/2006 14:25

poor Essbee, that's a real shame.

Marina · 23/11/2006 14:26

why do people do this sort of thing to other Mners? glad it was deleted anyway.
Whoever it was probably changed their name to do it anyway Rhubarb.

7up · 23/11/2006 14:26

apparently its been deleted

Rhubarb · 23/11/2006 14:28

Was it a name changer those who saw it?

zippitippitoes · 23/11/2006 14:29

no.. and best not mulled over

No, not a name changer... wish it was

Quadrophenia · 23/11/2006 14:30

I don't understand it was a really positive thread last night, was it just someone looking for trouble?

pageturner · 23/11/2006 14:30

The thread has definitely gone and it wasn't a namechanger. Not sure I should say more.

OP posts:
Greensleeves · 23/11/2006 14:31

It wasn't really like that, it wasn't a troll or a thread started deliberately to be malicious. It was something well-intended that went horribly wrong. It is really, really, best forgotten. IMO.

Rhubarb · 23/11/2006 14:32

Why not? People shouldn't make personal attacks, and those that do are not worth defending. Poor essbee has had it really tough and Mumsnet is her lifeline, her support, now some arse has taken that away from her. It's them that should be taking a rest from Mumsnet, not essbee!

JoolsToo · 23/11/2006 14:32

I contributed to that thread also and have just been looking for it (unsuccessfully).

I can't imagine what anyone would say or want to say to upset essbee?????!!!!!!

sending you best wishes essbee

it's not as straight forward as that, it's the point where mn lacks three dimensionality

I don't have CAt either, Rhubarb, but if you have an email you can post I'll tell you. For personal info though, let's not start a witch-hunt.

Rhubarb - you've surprised me. I'm sure it was you the other day that was upset with someone for going on about an argument on the WelshBoris thread. Apologies in advance if I have that wrong.

Aimed at no-one in perticular - If Esbee wants to take a break good on her.
Digging for dirt / "baying for blood" is tastless imo.

zippitippitoes · 23/11/2006 14:37

..you only get part of a story

JoolsToo · 23/11/2006 14:38

pageturner would you tell me? I was on that thread but it was all peaceful when I went to bed!

angrydriver2000 @ yahoo . co . uk

ta in advance!

Rhubarb · 23/11/2006 14:39

I've emailed essbee myself and asked her. If that person is reading this now, I hope that you are feeling better now that you've taken someone's support away from them. I hope she tells me who you are!
