Oh god, cat wrestling is really not funny. Well, actually it is unless it's you doing it. I seem to remember wrapping in a towel was the only way to avoid scarification!

Zing says hi and sends hugs; she's busy with Woolly Hug projects, oh, and all those children appear to want some attention occasionally, cheek! Grin

"extra special big hug and kiss for Zomb"

Happy Anniversary Ikl WineFlowers

Santé everyone Smile

magimedi · 30/10/2015 17:45

Happy anniversary, ikl. Check your PMs! Squared paper alert!

It is indeed sante (can't do the accent) time, BBB Wine

UndeadWalkingEatingBrains · 30/10/2015 17:46

Bee, a towel won't be enough given the length of her claws. I have a THICK blanket ready. Grin

magimedi · 30/10/2015 17:48

Zombie Can you give us or PM me the address of the hospital so cards can wing their way to you?

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 30/10/2015 20:12

I used to swaddle them up really tight no movement possible.
Could you do drops while she's asleep? Once a day doesn't have to be both ears at the same time.

As a fellow stationery fan, can I ask magi are you talking about graph paper? Or some other delight that I have yet to encounter.

It's taken me a year to find out how to do accents on this machine BlushWine

magimedi · 30/10/2015 22:24

I am talking about the paper that all French school children use for everything in school & what I use to make my lists seem even more
(d)efficent!

I will bring you back a pad of it if you want & hold it aloft avec mon pomme de terre on 14/11!

Oven gloves! No really. Apparently it's what DH used to have to wear to groom his cat as a kid!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 31/10/2015 00:00

Oven gloves is inspired Wolfiefan for protection from claws, but you still need something to minimise the thrashing around.

You'd think the little fuckers would trust us after ... oh, 10/12 years of total devotion and indulgence.

magi I've not yet been privy to French school children's homework Sad

I think that's what I know as graph paper. Very smart. Does it make you write really small?

I need to write my lists really big, otherwise they are too easy to ignore Grin

Wolfiefan · 31/10/2015 00:01

I realised as I typed that hmmm oven gloves
and actually dispensing ear drops.
Maybe not a winner!
Ha. A cat. Trust. You foolish minion!
Grin

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 31/10/2015 00:25

Silly me Grin

Fucking fluffy little gorgeous bastards!

I'm getting a dog.

iklboo · 31/10/2015 14:28

Hey Magi - thanks for your PM - I have replied Grin

Just finished decorating the house for Halloween with a (forgive the pun) monster hangover after last night's shennanigans. DH kept me awake most of the night and not in the way you might think. He had really loud hiccups for hours and was too drunk deeply asleep to wake up and sort them out. Halloween Angry

magimedi · 31/10/2015 16:31

Ikl your PM has not arrived!

Just about to go & shut all curtains & make house look uninhabited - I hate Halloween .

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 31/10/2015 22:28

Spent afternoon at friends in Lewes, me glugging wine in kitchen, old man watching rugby.

Lots of trick or treaters.

Now home in our caravan in a field, with electric gate. Hahahahaha!

'nother miserable git Wine

iklboo · 31/10/2015 22:40

Hi magi - I didn't get a notification for yours but it had appeared in my messages on desktop site. I'll try again in the morning though just in case.

Trick or treating done. Remind me never to let DH do my zombie face paint again. My costume was 'zombie mom' (zomombie) & I was wearing a leopard print & flowery top. DH put that much face paint on I looked like Bette Lynch doing a Tina Turner tribute act Hmm.

Still, DS had lots of fun & got lots of sweets. Mucho Haribo which he doesn't like so I'll be forced to eat it. Shame. Grin

magimedi · 01/11/2015 10:13

No pm at all - have checked in box - but MN is funny atm.

iklboo · 01/11/2015 13:29

Sent another one Magi - hope this one arrives!

magimedi · 01/11/2015 14:01

It's worked & I have replied!

iklboo · 01/11/2015 20:06

Me too!! Thanks Magi StarWink

iklboo · 01/11/2015 20:47

Hope everything is going well and you're getting everything in order for your impending op. I've got a busy week too - DS is haing his 'double figure' birthday and is having more parties than Her Maj. I've got the stress of a nana-off (my mum & MIL vying for DS's attention) as well as BIL from hell. I'm practising my plastic grin and learning how to fit a gin drip. I'm going to need it.

Here's this week's Strictly round up...

Halloween Strictly - witch dancers gave the best treats?

Mummylin · 02/11/2015 01:10

Thanks Ikl, another good read, and I too think Jamelia comes out with some very weird stuff on loose women ! Nice to have a little chuckle as this past week has been awful with one thing and another,
Zombie. Hope you are working your way through that list of yours and nearly have everything in place ready for your op. Hope the cats all settled quickly after their visit to the vet !

iklboo · 02/11/2015 13:02

Oh no Lin - are you ok?

Mummylin · 02/11/2015 13:30

My dd,s ex who is a chronic alcoholic been causing trouble police involved but dd has not ben hurt. Plus two anniversarys, my mums death on fri and my sisters today. So not a good week at all.

iklboo · 02/11/2015 14:20

Oh that's awful Lin - sorry to hear that. Hope the ex is sorted out. Condolences for your losses - however long ago it was the anniversaries are still hard. Un MN type hugs and Thanks

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 03/11/2015 00:55

That's a really rough week lin to have those two anniversaries together.

Big hugs sweetheart.

DD and her ex sounds like a horrible situation to have to deal with at the best of times. Hope she is safe and close to you.

No-one could ask for a better mum than you.

IamtheZombie · 03/11/2015 14:07

After much thought and deliberation I've decided to put the ZombieCats into a cattery for 3 weeks while I have my operation and a bit of recovery time. The neighbour who normally feeds them had a heart attack a few months ago and as I'm unsure how long I'll be hors de combat it's just easier all around to have them somewhere I know they're safe. The lady who runs the cattery is aware of my situation and if necessary she can keep them a bit longer.

I'm a bit sad that they can't stay home but also relieved that I finally came to a decision and have it all set up and ready to go.

I'll be taking them over on Monday afternoon.
