Hola mi wenchitas - here we are back at the Swagger Inn about to commence our year long speculation about storyline, how longs Aramis' hair will be, will Milady and Athos finally shag, will there be a baby Constagnan or a baby Porthos???

Will we get any flirty aramis at all now he is a monk? Apparently though in Dumas' day they considered jesuits in particular to be quite likely to indulge in "worldly temptations" and so the religious and slutty sides of aramis seemed realistic.

Btw is it only me who cannot see the Pope without saying "I am the general of the order of jesuits" from man in the iron mask with jeremy irons as aramis?

I was big fan of Eric Cantona too and can't quite bring myself to like my now local team Crystal Palace.

I don't reckon we'll get much of Aramis at all in S3 Sorry Team-mates. I think it'll be one of the others' turn after S2 cos it has to be him who had the most screentime in that of the 4 of them. I reckon 3 will be Dog's turn.

I agree. Whilst Athos is currently the musketeer leader, replacing treville, surely that won't last?

It is time for Dog. He is supposed to be the main character isn't he? It is supposed to focus on him and his journey.

Agree we may not get much Aramis in s3, suspect much more Dog being featured. There could be a lot of Athos, if Dog is to be Captain by the end. they could show Athos struggling with/disliking leadership - cue lots of angst, especially if Milady returns at some point (which I suspect she will)

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the whole 'war with Spain' plotline, as I doubt the budget will allow for big battle scenes - there have been plenty of comments as it is of how few Musketeers there seem to be when needed for duties
