I think that we should back up our opinions with evidence, like wot proper academics do.

Without the Dolphin storyline, we wouldn't have got

BloodyElkFire · 02/04/2015 22:33

I'm planning a trip to see AK at the Exchange if anyone fancies coming with? My best night would be a Saturday, with the exception of the 11th

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 22:37

Or this

(Long day involving friend being late to meet-ups, small child (not mine thank god) throwing up in swimming pool, and unscheduled late night for DS) Oh - and exploding toothache. (not literally, but that's how it felt)
Argh. Etc.

Oh - AND to add to the ways in which the BBC has shafted folk, the DVD is still on pre-order from them. No actually being sold yet apparently.

Comtess sorry to hear about DH's friend
Madame re the migraines
Badders in general

Night all...

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 22:40

Is that up near you elk?

Glad to hear the heating should be fixed tomorrow.

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 22:42

Very good work, academic fancy. Point well made.

I remember my dad leaping out of the front door after the 1985 final. The 1983 final was quite special though as my mum's family live in and supported Brighton, but my dad has always been a United fan.

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 22:57

I love the image of your dad leaping out of the front door Grin.

In the 1999 Champions League Final I fell off a stool when Solskjaer scored Blush

Morelikeguidelines · 02/04/2015 23:11

I was a very pissed student watching that champions' league final!

Have been watching series 1 and you are all right about it. There is much more humour, especially from aramis (and porthos to be fair).

Could we not have a balanced Aramis next time?

LaComtess · 02/04/2015 23:13

Night wenches. My massive bad mood has just shifted slightly as I've remembered I've not got to get up at the arse crack of dawn tomorrow. Finally some good news.

Also Dh's ironman friend (anyone remember him? Injury I lusted over) has come to collect the sobbing friend from my house and is taking him to his for the night. Bless him.

So I'm off to cheer the fuck up. Usually this involves TB fantasies but the BBC have fucked me off so badly that doesn't seem right tonight. Fuck you BBC.

I'm deffo tweeting JP tomorrow in disgust. Elk glad you've cancelled yours. I think I'm returning mine too. Though I don't trust people here not to delete them off the hdd so I'm wavering....

Night and enjoy the bank holiday lie in for those who might get one.

(Thanks Elk also for hottie comment which is only laugh I've had tonight)

LetUsPrey · 02/04/2015 23:17

Oh Fancy - that was a night and a half wasn't it? I remember pointing to the area of the goal where Solskjaer scored saying "come on Ole, score, just there" and then he did. When the whistle went, I ran outside and ran round our front garden Grin. He's one of my all time favourite Utd players.

Let's think, what else makes me happy? Oh look

Off to the Hayloft. Night wenches

Swagger Inn: Thread 90. The week after the Friday Finale.
FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 23:18

Aw, ironman friend sounds nice. Night comtess hope you manage to get your lie in.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 02/04/2015 23:23

Admirable work Fancy. Have you reached a conclusion yet?

Maybe you need to summarise in the morning.

Morelikeguidelines · 02/04/2015 23:34

Still wonder what the hell Peter Schmeichel was hoping to do though...

Morelikeguidelines · 02/04/2015 23:36

letus that must be from S2 as he has the crucifix, no? Is that as much chest as we ever got?

Have just watched s1e1 where Adele goes through all of aramis' injuries. Now that is a fine scene.

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 23:43

My working theory is that flirty Aramis is the best Aramis. This is based mostly on instant reactions to the flirting - involuntary oohs, squeaks & sighs; raised pulse rate & pinging ovaries.

Angsty Aramis is very fine to look at and does raise involuntary sighs & an increased pulse rate. But, and this is significant, if angst & brooding was my thing, I'd be in Team Athos. And I most definitely am not.

I would say 'case closed', but there's no harm in further research. I do need my pic allowance back to document my case though Grin

I only have one left tonight - let's hear those ovaries pinging....

FancyFancy · 02/04/2015 23:48

Oh dear God, the smirk and the laughing eyes are a devastating combo......

That Adele scene is fantastic too, just damn hot AND he does a flirty smile when he talks about her nails.

Night letus. I love Ole too - his song to the tune of 'You are my sunshine' is one of my favs & got sung to the dcs lots when they were babies Grin

Eric Cantona is probably my favoutite ever though.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/04/2015 07:48

Right - spring clean.....

ah, stuff it, I cant be bothered actually.

Morelikeguidelines · 03/04/2015 07:49

I was always a massive fan on Bryan Robson as a child. Think I had a baby crush on him and also hannibal from the A team.

IssyStark · 03/04/2015 08:08

Morning wenches

Popping by en route to the glories of Sussex. Had hit cross buns for breakfast

Have now rtft and not much to add except agree with General consensus that s2 was okay with some good moments (anything with Milady esp miladyboy), dithering about the dvd, and my seminal footballing moment was, unsurprisingly for a Scots household, the Scotland v. Holland match in the Argentina World Cup in 1978.

Have a good day all. Hugs to those having less than optimal weekends so far (comtess, badders and anyone else I've forgotten)

Enormouse · 03/04/2015 08:20

Morning helen, MLG and issy.

I'm up and about (just) and have actually managed to get downstairs without setting off the toddler alarms.

We're housesitting this weekend for PILs, which toddlermouse is really excited about as he gets to look after and play with chase and terrorise his favourite cat. Poor hector will be breathing into a paper bag and rocking in a corner by the end of the weekend.

LetUsPrey · 03/04/2015 08:41

Morning wenches. DC up early but were being nice and quiet downstairs, until DS2 decided to play the recorder at about 7.45.

Oh Eric Cantona! Bloody brilliant Issy I suspect DH would agree with you there.

Flirty Aramis is wonderful. Remember questioning Suzette(I think), Vadim's girlfriend, in Sleight of Hand?

Mouse, poor cat, but you paint an excellent picture Grin

Enormouse · 03/04/2015 09:00

The recorder is Satan's instrument imo.

He does love the cat. Except his brand of love is terrifying, loud and involves coercing the cat into dressing up, getting into a pram or playing fetch.

Carolina2015 · 03/04/2015 10:02

Did someone say 'ERIC CANTONA' ? SIGH!
