Hello lovely Zombie, so sorry I've been quiet. I've been trying to keep up but my concentration has left the building for now.

A belated happy birthday to you!

T'was my birthday on Monday too. I celebrated with a Chinese takeaway and a scrummy gluten free lemon drizzle cake made by DD- the first time I've ever had cake with mashed potato in!

It was hopefully my last as a wife, as Mr married got a letter from my solicitors on Tuesday. Right now it's hard, but better things ahead for both you and me, that's the plan anyway

I hope it's nice tomorrow as we have a parade in the town as our footi team have won the league and also gained promotion to the premier league. Dh is extremely happy as Man U will be playing against our team .

I was on the beach today along with 60,000 others for our towns footi teams victory parade, it was lovely and warm, it didn't last and it's now pouring with rail ! Hope all is well with everyone particularly BBB and Married.

You are correct magimedi . It was a great week for the team and they thoroughly deserve their success. Don't know how they will fare next season though.i think my dh has read every word on every website and every newspaper, despite being a season ticket holder and seeing most of the games !! I will be glad of a break from being talked through tactics etc

Just to say I am back from visiting Zombie in hospital where she has been since Thursday. She really is feeling lousy. She is on oxygen as her sats are low. She is very breathless indeed and her abdomen is quite hard and swollen which is very uncomfortable. Her temperature keeps spiking despite iv antibx.
Despite all this the wry Zombie humour shines through and the smile is still there. If any of you are in the Shrewsbury area and able to visit she would love to see you (pm me for details of ward/times. She asked me to write an honest update on this thread and to send you all her love as she has no internet access at the moment.

Thank you for the update, greylady - even though it's horrible news. So sad to hear the news Zombie is laid low with this spaffbadger of a fucking disease and its snidey little side kick hanger on side effects.

Please send my love, lots of hugs & very best wishes for a speedy recovery and a quick return home to all who love her. Please let her know my thoughts & vibes are with her while she's getting better - and the Phalanx are all here.

She is in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Ward 23 but that is dependent on her having shared her real name! I doubt 'Zombie' would find her! If anyone wants my home address I will deliver/send on any cards just send me a pm if that will do. I hope you understand.
