The snug is now expanded and open for anywenches wanting to blether away without inflicting their ramblings on the innocent Hmm participants of Telly Addicts.

Musketeer worship is still a pre-requisite to entry of course....

I'm on the app, liv at the mo, so no pics!

MadamedeChevreuse · 03/02/2015 12:29

Nicely sidestepped drink. Grin

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 03/02/2015 12:31

Fox I think you made a typo there - you put "batman" instead of "sexy man"... Bless ya.... Smile

MadamedeChevreuse · 03/02/2015 12:43

liv I do fancy capaldi, not to your levels, but a lot. And even I dont think the sandals are remotely attractive. They are awful. Its not him, it's them.

MadamedeChevreuse · 03/02/2015 12:46

This, for example, is nice.

Ooh madame that is rather hot......

Lyndie · 04/02/2015 10:06

I was planning a Snug day but some bastard tree surgeon has a tree shredding thing on full blast outside my window! FMTS. Angry

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/02/2015 15:03

Given blood just now. Not really happy. Got prodded in the arm after the needle was inserted Hmm Then when the other 'donor carer' was taking out the needle, she pressed hard the place with the needle when putting the dressing on top.

FancyFancy · 04/02/2015 15:14

Ouch drink! Some of their staff have much better technique than others don't they? How's your arm feeling now?

Lyndie · 04/02/2015 15:25

Oh dear Drink. Have you got a bruise? Good on you for giving blood anyway. I'm not allowed to as I had a transfusion after having DS. Still feel a bit bad about it!

FolknNorah · 04/02/2015 16:22

Aaaaaaafffffttttteeerrrrrrnnnnooooonnnnnn all! Hmm
Aww, poor drinky, shall I come (fnar) and rub you better?
Having a good day lyndie? Bet you haven't been a lazy as me.

Hmmm, I'll see if I can find my favourite PC pic in a moment. Right now I need something to take away the pain.

Ooh, yes. You'll do nicely Porthos. Drop 'em.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/02/2015 16:44

Well, actually it's still fecking sore Angry
Usually, the moment they take out the needle I don't feel anything, no soreness. I tried lifting a shop basket with few items in it - my arm collapsed. Anyway, all done now.

lyndie did they drill all day?
fancy yes, different people do it with different sensitivity but I thought they took the Biscuit today. Never had such problems before.
norah not sure I can reciprocate properly being an invalid today!

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/02/2015 16:46

In a way Hmm I can't wait for the series to finish si that we can go back to otbt and post on one thread this and TM chat. I feel very expised here, if lurkers read this, which they're entitled to, it's all here on a plate and nit mixed up with other shite spouting.

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 04/02/2015 16:53

HELLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO wenches!!

Hope everyone is okay. Haven't caught up with the full thread yet (have actually done some work today!) but wanted to just come in to say hello!

Erm.... did someone mention their favourite PC pic? That is a very good idea - it will certainly cheer me Drink up, how kind of you Grin

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 04/02/2015 16:54

Norah Not the bat pic though, 'K? Grin

Lyndie · 04/02/2015 16:55

Good point Drink. Like.

The tree people were finished by lunchtime. Thank goodness!

Norah I've been fairly lazy!! Like you not on top form today. [exhausted emoticon]

FancyFancy · 04/02/2015 17:19

Angry for you drink & with a young child it's not as if you can completely avoid lifting is it? Hope your arm is ok soon

Last but one time I went, the flow kept stopping & the staff member had to adjust the needle so many times he ended up standing by me nearly the whole time. The next day the bruise went half way down my forearm Shock.

On the plus side, they do those Lotus biscuits now Grin

FolknNorah · 04/02/2015 17:27

Here you are liv but it's for drinky wot with her sorely arm. 'K?
Don't worry drink I'll do all the work.
Aww, poor you lyndie

Oooh - drink - sympathies. I was once black and blue from wrist to elbow from a botched blood doning session Sad It woke me up in the middle of the night it was so sore.

OP posts:
Lyndie · 04/02/2015 20:57

It's a bigger needle than a normal blood test.

FolknNorah · 04/02/2015 21:18

#anyexcuse

Don't suppose any if the Tav Lit fuckersz are about and getting ready to post are they?

Cos, ya know, I'm not feeling well etc etc etc etc. Wink

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/02/2015 21:19

Thank you norah!

oh no, helen that's abysmal!

Right, I now have a sore throat. FMST. Also can't get creche for the gym, which is disappointing in spite of the BF (Bitch Face), as it gives me 2 hours childfree. started having showers there which hopefully will help the undoubtedly abysmall energy bill in MArch.

'Funny' thing - i was trying to buy heiz's 50% less sugar ketchup. O c a d o - sold out. Local bif W a i t r o s e - sold out. off I go to A s d a to pick up DD's swimming costume - lo and behold a whole shelf of them Grin. what does it say about the shops' demographic? Wink

comtess - the swimming cap arrived today and is perfect! Thanks Flowers

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/02/2015 21:21

good job I wasn't googling cocks and fannies as I can see that my browsers tracking cookies are working very well Hmm. all big photos of what I was searching for!

Cinnamoncookie · 04/02/2015 21:55

They always do the 'pressing on the needle' thing to me - dunno if it's cos I had a rebleed several donations ago (I was happily enjoying my tea and biscuits when the lady sitting next to me suddenly went, "Ooh-er" and pointed at my left hand, which had blood dripping off it onto the floor. Was whisked back into the donation area and a hefty nurse put pressure on it for about 10 minutes before it would stop Shock ShockShock.

I've also had the blood pack split (blood all over the donation area floor) and have fainted twice. It's a wonder they still let me do it !

Flowers for all blood donating wenches. It's a bugger you can't donate after you've had a transfusion.

FancyFancy · 04/02/2015 23:18

Shock cinnamon, I've never had anything that exciting happen, in fact I'm more the opposite - when the DCs were younger I nearly fell asleep once as it was so peaceful there compared to home Grin
