The snug is now expanded and open for anywenches wanting to blether away without inflicting their ramblings on the innocent Hmm participants of Telly Addicts.

Musketeer worship is still a pre-requisite to entry of course....

Baddz · 12/01/2015 20:33

Lyndie - I do take berocca! (well the aldi cheapo version :))
But that's orange! Why would it make my wee green?
Madame...hope you are ok x

Lyndie · 12/01/2015 20:45

It's one of the vitamins that what you don't absorb, your body pees out. It's not the colour in the tablets. The Berocca packaging says that it will do that, not sure about the Aldi one but they're probably made in a similar way.

Madame SadSad hang in there.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 12/01/2015 20:54

Badders YY to daytime rewatch, today or tomorrow works fine for me.
Madame
Yay for weight loss Carolina (DH says that flu works in a similar way!)

NonnyMouseMcNameChange · 12/01/2015 21:50

Recap? Really? OK Foxy...

Kate aka Lady Caitlyn acts as spy for Queen, gets sent to rummage in someone's room for letters, with Musketeers as back up. Takes one into the room to help rummage (turns out to be Athos eventually, but immense fun is had by keeping wenches guessing which one it is for as long as possible) whilst others keep ineffective watch. Then has to snog him (oh, the hardship!) to pretend that's why they were in there when Cardinal appears (because it was his room). Cardinal is Cross, bangs her head off wall in fit of pique because she refused him a BJ as compensation. Musketeers to rescue.
Both end up back in her room to maintain 'cover story' - much snogging

Next day - more snogging followed by breakfast (for her) cross Treville (for him) Cross Mistress of Queen's Wardobe (for her) visit to Norah-the-seamstress/BFF (for her) Skulking Rochfort (for everyone) Cross Cardinal decides to suggest to the king that she should be married off (not good). Queenie gets tipped off and arranges on-the-spot-betrothal to musketeer instead (mutual shock/freaked-out-ness all round). Plus because what else is there to do for entertainment?

Next day - Excitement about designing wedding dresses (Norah); Breakfast and blethering (for both); Cross Treville (for her) showdown with skulking Rochefort (she wins) another bang on the head (for her - clumsy girl). Needlework (for Aramis) Yet more .

Skip a few weeks. Musketeers have been away on exercise. Kate needs to go home and sort out marriage contract / tax stuff (but needs an escort). Norah admits Rochefort has been making a nuisance of himself. Musketeers come back. Even more .

There's a dance (barn style) and a pretty hot snog
Next day early morning , accident at stables

And you're up to date....

Supporting cast (other than Musketeers) include:
Norah-the-seamstress (Team Porthos)
Meg-the-Maid (Team Robbie - poor Meg)
Helene-the-groom (Team Cardinal)
Martin-the-Head-Lad
Robbie-the-dead-stable-lad (Team Meg, but that's irrelevant)
Lady Ana (Mistress of Queens Wardrobe (Team Treville, but not so much since the Treville queue has vanished and longer demands any action)
Mistress Fournier (who usually patches up Kate after various mishaps)

LiviaDruscillaAugusta · 12/01/2015 21:59

Nonny You are a literary legend! I must admit I did like the Cardinal blowjob chapter but then I would, wouldn't I! Grin

Carolina2015 · 12/01/2015 22:00

Off to bed for me.

Hope the mystery of the green pee is solved tomorrow Badders and that everyone, poorly or not, gets a good nights sleep.

See you all tomorrow

Night all!

Flopsy28 · 12/01/2015 22:13
FancyFancy · 12/01/2015 22:28

Brilliant summary nonny!

carolina, what an amazing weight loss, and yes, take credit for all of it, even the bit caused by flu - you'll have suffered for that! Tonsilitis did for my last few pounds of baby weight after having DD. God I suffered for it, so damn I'll take the credit Grin

Night to all those off to bed & to all poorly ones would should be in bed

Hope tomorrow is calmer madame Flowers

FurFoxAke · 13/01/2015 06:54

Get well soon everyone!

Thank you nonny Grin that was great. Hope the next installment is coming along nicely? impatient

madame, baddersz and helen hope you are all ok today?

MadamedeChevreuse · 13/01/2015 08:17

Morning! It's not raining, woo! So I wont get soaked on my bike. Things generally seem better here today.

Hope all wenches are well / getting better / pee returning to normal colour.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/01/2015 09:39

Morning wenches :)

Laundry disaster - tumble dryer broken Have ordered a new one to come tomorrow, but bloody hell with everything else to pay for this month what a nightmare. I am sooo glad we bought a dehumidifier last winter, the wet load I was left with last night has dried really well overnight and no damp house.

Floppers I know right? Wink

Thought period was over, seems not. Still got really bad cramping on day 3 :( They are getting worse, huge clots and I feel really unwell for the couple of days before it starts - which helpfully next month will be the days when I need to pack for holiday. FMP.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/01/2015 09:51

Morning Alibabs/Madame/Foxy

Am feeling better today so far but then I did yesterday too until about 2pm, so we will see......

OP posts:
Baddz · 13/01/2015 10:35

Oh Ali what a nightmare!
My periods are truly hideous. But am sort of used to them now.
Wee sample done...thanks for the tip lyndie :)
I won't be able to settle at all today...ds2 was crying again when he went into school :(
Sigh...

Lyndie · 13/01/2015 10:50

Morning.

I also get the stop/start thing, it's dire!

I didn't cough last night apparently but still coughing now!! It's very tiresome!! Energy levels are awful too, I always get something like this when I'm on a health kick!!

Have a nice day everyone. Smile

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 13/01/2015 11:27

Hmm, it seems that cava does not agree with me. I had 2, 5 glasses last night (half a bottle) was in bed by 11pm and was all groggy this morning Hmm. seriously I was so tired/ hangover that it made me rather late in the morning.

Baddz · 13/01/2015 11:31

Drink...I am such a lightweight now...ironic considering how much I used to knock it back in my youth :)
2 glasses of wine would make me very merry these days.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 13/01/2015 11:34

baddz that is tru but when I do the same with prosecco twice last week I do not get the same reaction! so back to the prosecco for me.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/01/2015 11:54

Drink prosecco is the only way Grin

It is freezing here, and there is no pasta which has thrown DS2 (aged 3) into a total paddy about lunch. Would sausage sandwiches be wrong??

Also, DH has seemingly ordered new tyres for my car, which are now sitting in the kitchen. The whole house smells of rubber. Dear God.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 13/01/2015 11:58

so how are you going to get them on to the car? Do you have all the equipment at home, ali?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 13/01/2015 12:00

A mobile tyre fitting service, it is surprisingly good value - £15-25 a corner.

Apparently the wheels may also arrive today. I have no idea where they will go... Hmm

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 13/01/2015 12:15

ah, I just used the thing where you order your tyres online but pick them up from the garage, where they install them. The cost of installation is calculated already in the price of the tyres or as they say: tyre fitting is free Hmm.
