In breaking news, Tom has a part in the new BBC version of War and Peace. Don't know how they're going to arrange that around a possible third series of TM, but hopefully it will be finished before then.

Morning wenches. We are back home, drove up yesterday but ended up with a takeaway, bottle of plonk and 3 episodes of House of Cards on the sofa with DH, so no wenching.

Today I need to go to supermarket and then find room for the huge heap of new stuff the kids have. House appears to be a shit tip already and we've been home less than 20 hours. Oh and tons of washing. DH will no doubt sit on arse on sofa as its a holiday

Have just read the confessions site with breakfast and was a bit at times too. Not as good as tav lit at all. So much other stuff to catch up with, will be such a hardship

I have never ever managed to finish war and peace...I found it so boring I couldn't wait for the war and all of them to be killed tbh.
My dad was very disappointed in me that I never got more than a third of the way through :)

Haven't a clue about War & Peace but can we assume from the fact that he's at the end of the list of cast that it's only a minor role? Certainly it's not one of the main parts. If so could be fitted around TM3 filming. Do NOT fuck this up Tom.

On a slightly serious note, I used to love reading but can't seem to settle to anything now. My attention span is completely shot. I've a stack of books waiting to be read, but if I want to grab a book on the rare occasion I'm having a bath, I just seem to pick up one I've read a billion times already, eg Hitchhiker's or Last Chance To See.

Im the same letus, thats why I got into YA literature after having ds. Someone bought me a hilary mantel a few years ago and I failed to get beyond the first few pages...

I love reading too, but most of my reading time seems to have turned into Tavern Time. So DH complains about how much tiem I spend on MN instead of buried in a book.

Madame I didn't catch the Steve Wright thing, but I think you can balance them off:
Radio 2 - very short, included Steve Wright, and only had TB talking (Is that right?) but at least actual new stuff and somethign about SC in it
Recap - extended YouTube type mix, without the good music (thought there was some Adele from what I remember)

Must go and move logs around the house..... (DH out to chop more wood, I need to make room for it to come in...)
