Madame - recap I'd rate as 2/10 as opposed to R2 as 1/10 (and that was only due to hearing TB refer to SC as Santi). Recap only gets the 2 as the Aramis part focuses on him topless in bed so on that basis alone it scores points.

Anyone else or just the 2 of you at meet-up? Are you still at ILs then?

In washing news, I have one load on and another waiting, covered in soot. To explain, we have an open fireplace but only use it to burn logs at Christmas. The rest of the time DH stuffs insulation up the chimney to stop the draught. To get it down he has to lie on his back with his head in the fireplace with me standing by with the hoover tube to suck up any soot, but this year a great fall of it came down together with a dead pigeon, which was rather horrific. You don't really want that in your face on Christmas Day, although it would have made a good comedy sketch. Fortunately he was wearing protective glasses and a mask, but our clothes got in a bit of a mess.

Oh, and have a lovely meet-up, Obs and Madame.

Watched the Musketeers recap - all 10 minutes of it . Excellent though.

Watched Miranda. Also excellent. And then sobbed my way through Call The Midwife.

Re TB in W&P, the ONLY good thing about this minor character - Dolokhov, is that he has a DUEL with the main character Pierre Bezukhov = so atleast we will see some of TB's sexy duelling etc.
Other than that, he will be in it for all of a few minutes. Once. That's IT. I suspect.

Last series we didn't actually do much in the way of commentary during first watch of any episode - we all just rushed straight in as the credits rolled. Cos otherwise you just miss too much

Rewatches with associated commentary are then a must cos obvs you don't take everything in first time round as you are too distracted by FAF.

I agree. When you watch fur the first time, you can't type because you miss too much.
