The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

Good evening from Malaysia hearts

I've been following zombies story since the beginning when I started to search for answers after my dm was told she had breast cancer, my mum is currently going through it for the second time 12 years after she was first diagnosed.

My recent hospital visits have been entirely for a different reason.

My ds decided to scare us all by arriving 7 weeks early so we have spent the best part of the month in neo natal.

Ludlow excursion was only to Tesco. Dinner tonight was salmon with hollandaise sauce, steamed new potatoes and steamed brocolli. I have chocolate cake for pud but am still too full for it yet. I'll just sip some more wine for a while.

I have some posh choc icecream for tomorrow after lunch. I figured I might as well indulge - not sure how things will work out post-op.

I still can't think of a Halloween name, but rest assured it won't be "ZombieSlayer" or anything like that!

I'm glad you are not changing your travel plans. How long will you be there for?

I can only really manage 2 weeks, Zing. I have to fit it in between treatments.

Your dinner sounds delicious Zombie I love a bit of salmon and hollandaise, I made an aubergine and mozzarella bake and had it with pasta then had lemon drizzle cake.
It's many years since I've been to Ludlow, but well remember what a lovely town it was, lots of pubs too!

Allalone thank you very much for the good wishes, was a mixed bag really, 4 hours on M25 which should have been 40mins wasn't great so we missed the first half hour of the show we were heading for.

DH family are very, ahem, different to us, but luckily don't hold back on the vino.
Copious wine quaffing and simultaneous lip-buttoning are not a great combination.
Luckily I've had years of practice had big argument with one of them, about that bloody footballer. Could not stay quiet about that

Zombie sorry to hear your latest set of results :( and about 'the other thing' that is upsetting and draining you - I hope you have or can resolve it. There's nothing wrong with asking 'why me?' You have been through a lot and it's not bloody fair :( x

Hi Zombie, dull here too, but at least it's dry. Soon be time for thermal knickers ! Hope today has been ok for you, have you had a restful day or having you been doing a thousand and one things ! I'm just doing some online Christmas shopping, it's good therapy, I do love getting parcels delivered. Have a good nights sleep.

It's been a quiet day, mummy.

I've just had a long FB chat with my son. I told him about my 'other problem'. He used proper swear words!

He may have someone he'd like me to meet when I'm there.

He loves me. Despite everything my son loves me.

That is so lovely Zombie, your DS must be a very understanding person, it seems he accepts you and all the past. It's fabulous and I'm so happy that you will soon meet. I have an adult son and I adore him ( and my dd ) and I'm sure you feel this too. I think it's wonderful for you both. It also gives you a much needed boost, which you deserve.
Did he give you advice about your other problem ?
Ooh I wonder who he has lined up for you to meet, will be interesting.

I'm all teary reading about that! I missed parts of your threads - when did you initiate contact? I seem to remember it wasn't not that long ago.
And I assume he lives in Virginia which is the main reason you are going but again I'm possibly making that up.

It's sunny here already so I'm going to courier over some sunshine asap.
