Zombie continues her cancer journey after chemo

The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

What are we but our words and actions? Why do we care? Zombie in the midst of shit you are strong and so full of humour. We admire you (and still owe you a drink or several!!) x

You are so well loved and admired here for your courage ,humour and humanity . You reach out to so many .
Just want to add that yes statistics are meaningless and a prognosis is guess work . Yes it is educated work of course and our medics are truthful and cautious . But we are all individuals with unique bodies and minds .
So do not lose hope darling lady .

My DH was given two years max four years ago.,His mri was shocking . Advanced prostate . He is like you living under the sword ....but is doing just fine at the moment.
You are right ...many tools in the tool box and guns in the arsenal Zombie.
New treatments coming fast. My DH is in clinical trial unit and they are superb for monitoring and support .

Much affection Zombie . The bastard disease hasn't got my DH yet ..and sure as hell isn't getting you either for a long time .

Oh, Zombie. I haven't been on Mumsnet much recently, and didn't see this thread. I am so glad that you've got the love and support here - over the years, you've been the one giving that love and support, to so many women.

Zombie, we support you because we can and because you inspire us to.

Zombie is open and honest, brave and funny.

Zombie has had a really rough hand dealt to her and coped with dignity, realism and optimism.

Zombie is always Zombie; and if that means tearing off into the into the night to help a random stranger, that's what she does.

Zombie is a rock, in spite of what she's been/ going through, that's quite an achievement - there's the inspiration.

Zombie is not just words on a screen for me, in real life she is the same person as you all see.
