Zombie continues her cancer journey after chemo

The thread in Chat has gone to thread heaven. Silly Zombie thought it wasn't due to go until tomorrow so missed her chance to ask HQ to move it here.

She slept well last night and feels reasonably well this morning.

It's been a fantastic weekend. The highlight of today was a delicious brunch with ZLad, my uncle and a few close friends.

I have never been this happy.

So glad you are having such a fab time with your DS and uncle etc. what happy times you will have to look back on. Hope you have taken lots of photos. I know you will never forget this holiday. I think it's all wonderful and a real tonic for you. Must be lovely for your DS too. I wonder what has been going through his head. Take care Zombie , enjoy the rest of your holiday x

Remember I said it was -5C last week? Today it was 21C. Don't get too excited as it may snow on Wednesday.

Zombie finally hit the wall today. She fell asleep in the chair last night, woke up at 8.00 and went up to bed. She then slept until noon and had a nap between 4.00 and 6.30.

oh I'm more excited about the snow! if it snows would you be able to ski?

I'm surprised you lasted this long without a nap day. I normally need one every third day when visiting - so well done you!
( my relatives & friends must be more tiring! )

Has ZombiLad got any plans of visiting you sometime next year?

I hope you have now caught up on your sleep and raring to go again. You have had such an exciting week so far and coupled with your travel it's not really surprising you hit the wall.
I hope that there is not too much snow if it arrives, I think it looks so pretty but it does make it hard to get around for some.
That is a big difference in the temp isn't it!
I hope you are equipped with your thermals ! Don't overdo things Zombie, thinking of you. X

Really glad you have got your second wind after your long sleep, you obviously needed that. Now your engine has been stoked you can push on and enjoy your holiday.

Fantastic Z and brilliant timing for you to have your sleep days just when ZLad has had to go off to work.

I was just giggling at the prospect of ZLad arriving on Uk soil to be met with a massive gaggle of wild women (don't think we'd be disciplined enough for a phalanx at that point) brandishing spears, pompoms, and probably potatoes just in case

Am wondering if you could take on the extra duty of being phalanx sound track/juke box? You have certainly shown initiative and talent in that department.
